norton sucks at everything it tries to do, it's beaten into the ground by a good handful of free AVs
and explain "everything" seeing as I get maybe two UAC messages a day and apart from that nothing is problematic

It is incompatible with a lot of older games I had, Refuses to allow me to record sound, Freezes when you delete anything, Windows Explorer fails constantly, The Sidebar has issues with Fallout 3... etc

It's slow in the way what explorer is bloated, it doesn't focus on viewing and managing the files and there are way to many buttons that could be hidden. For me it defines what a good OS should not be, I use windows 7 but I don't like explorer there either. I prefer finder in OS X or the explorer in Windows XP.
