ok people, the desktop is designed to be a visual representation of a physical desktop, which would typically have a few temporary items on it. but some people like to keep their desk incredibly cluttered all the time, and some people prefer to keep it as clean as possible. you are both wrong.

Media tagged because I run a fucking huge resolution....and two monitors...Primary is 2048x1536, secondary 1024x768.
Just to put that into perspective: I can letterbox 1080P movies/games on my main monitor and have black bars around all four edges.
Before you even ask: The contents of that Torrents folder is mostly Gmod addons and one Ubuntu distro. So don't even start.
Edit: And anything I download with Firefox. Sea of Fallout 3 addons, random mp3's, a few smaller Gmod addons, mods for GTA IV/SA, so on and so forth.

Well, I mostly only see my wallpaper when I startup my PC.
I had token icons before everyone else started to use them. :( I've recently done away with my dock, and started utilizing Win7's superbar again. Looks quite nice if I do say so myself. Start orb fixed up.

I want a Vista taskbar with the 7 feel, because I want to see the date/day on the tasbar without having the bars not going all they way down.
