4. windows does resume if the battery runs out. it's called hibernate. most laptops do this at 5% charge. 5. I don't need AV for windows either. and someday there will be a good mac virus, and I will laugh at all the whining people saying "but macs dun get viruses :("
Macbook will do the same thing at 0% charge And cool. I never said you did. I'm just saying you don't need it for Mac. In that case they are equal then. And until that day, I'll continue to run my Mac without AV and be happy with it.

This may seem stupid, but how can I customize the super-bar in windows 7? Like, Can I change the icons down there? Or the general size?
;18302468']'The hell are you talking about? Now you're telling me Apple puts non-fragging hard drives in their computers? And it being completely 64-bit only instills more compatibility problems, with Windows you have a choice. Not even going to comment on the battery saving, and there are programs for Windows that can do what you talked about with resuming your session. The only reason there's no need for antivirus is because no one gives a fuck enough to plague the 400 people that use Macs. And you don't need antivirus with Windows as long as you don't try and install "Windows Anti Virus 2009".
Battery life is key, I don't know what is different but with every energy saving option enabled on Vista on my MBP 17" Uni-body (very efficient battery) it only nets me 3.5 hours of full brightness use, while OSX gets me 6 hours doing the same tasks at the same brightness. Also %10 of home computers are now running OSX, so you can't tell me there isn't incentive to hack it, especially since so many people want to mar the OS's reputation.

Hackers will always go for the 80% which is to my knowledge Microsoft's current hold on the OS market. 10% isn't shit compared to Microsoft's numbers.
;18309622']I'm not quite sure but I think 100 - 10 is 90.
linux could that possibly take 10%?
linux could that possibly take 10%?
Except Linux is free?
mac is at 6.8 and linux is at 4.4. and MS has the rest.
What you can do with a screenshot of a gmod train and some simple editing. Looks like a drawing but it isn't.
1. OS X automatically defrags every file under 20MB as soon as it is saved or opened IIRC. It's not the hard drives themsevles that cause fragmentation, it's how the OS uses it.
I do believe the filesystem has something to do with it.
