Yup, DX11 is, above all, another tool to speed up development.
I, for one, am excited about DX11's mandatory Anti Aliasing and its ability to do AA with deferred rendering.

What mandatory aa? And AA with deferred rendering is possible since DX10.
Something about having to support at least 4x aa of some kind. Not sure on the specifics here.
