I just thought you guys might want to know but they revamped the Mx518 its now called the G400 info at http://blog.logitech.com/2011/06/09/introducing-the-logitech-optical-gaming-mouse-g400-2/
it's pretty much dead now though the inability to run servers at a tickrate above 30 drove a lot of people away. Instead of being rewarded for being more skilled than your opponents, you're being punished because they aim incorrectly and get lucky 24 fucking 7 when your shots don't register because you're actually aiming at a hunter or smoker [editline]7th June 2011[/editline] been playing some 100 tick L4D2 though (without boomers which are broken, why it's not used in L4D1) and it's much better. The skill ceiling rose immensely and I think that's why some people are pushing away from it; they don't want to be found out for actually being shit which is 99% of the community [editline]7th June 2011[/editline] if anyone wants to discuss competitive/amateur or professional gaming with me feel free to add me on Steam
I dunno why I would assume there wasn't a competitive scene for L4D I'm dumb I totally forgot about that vs mode or whatever it's called. I apologize. It all makes sense now. Fun fact: when you install the driver for the black widow it installes the same font used on the keycaps I just found that out to when I noticed 2 Razer fonts wile using Photoshop.
Latest dell keyboard is better for using the Game but i use mouse only Compaq because his scroll work properly.
For keyboard, I'd say the Logitech G110 keyboard. It's a great keyboard for $80, and has plenty of features. It has key lighting, Windows key lock, 36 macro keys (3 sets of G1-G12 controlled by M1, M2, M3 keys), set macros in-game, headset mute, headset mic mute, key lighting switch, Play/Pause, Stop, Back, Forward keys, mute button, and barrel volume control (I fucking love the volume control, it's fast and easy). It also has a removable bar for your hands, but I prefer mine off. In addition to all of that, it has a USB port and green and pink ports for headsets. I can't say much for the mouse because I'm currently using this as a replacement for a broken Logitech mouse that came with my computer, I'm getting a laser mouse sometime. Goodbye rubber ball, I'll always love you!
Take the rubber ball out and play with it. Bouncy balls are fun.
They don't bounce
Take the rubber ball out and play with it. Bouncy balls are fun.
I tried to bounce one once, it fucking dented the floor boards.
I tried to bounce one once, it fucking dented the floor boards.
Steel core. Steel doesn't bounce very well. [editline]13th June 2011[/editline] It's funny how mechanical mice are terrible and mechanical keyboards are the shit.
I dont know why but i always love the keyvboard and mouse that comes with the computer, it it does come with one.
I have a Razer Mamba, but since most people don't want to spend that kind of money, I'd recommend the Logitech G400, the replacement for their really popular MX518. As for keyboards, it hardly matters, I use a Logitech G110.
