First off, yes, I've been watching Star Trek lately. And no, I don't think anything like that is possible yet. However, I've been experimenting with Windows Speech Recognition Macro's, and I've gotten a taste of controlling things like music, finding programs and dictating. Unfortunately, the program is rather limited in having voice commands outside Microsoft programs. Seeing as I exclusively use Spotify, that's a deal breaker.
So my question would be, are there any other voice control software that fill my needs? I know of Dragonsoft Naturally speaking, but it´s mainly a dictating program, and rather resource-intensive.
Damnit, I was going to mention Dragonsoft. I use it to control my PC which works flawlessly. I agree it's very large though.
Dragonsoft works well enough; it takes getting used to but it's the closest thing you'll want.
Windows has an integrated function, it isn't perfect, but does the trick, also you could try using kinect.
Dragonsoft is probably the best bet, admittedly controlling the computer through voice is a cool concept, I love Siri and Google Now on phones
