My cap is supposedly 8mbs, but I rarely get speeds above 700kb/s; not that I'm complaining, months ago it was only half that.
Don't worry you're fine i got 14Mbps connection which usually doesn't work at all and when it works it works under 3Mbps.
It's 3G internet connection and i always get 100% signal strength and i live pretty much in the center of 2nd biggest population center in Finland where their HSDPA coverage is really good.
But alteast i got secondary connection which i can use if i don't need to download or upload anything as it's just 1Mbps connection which i get free in this apartment.
I have 20 Mbps and 60 gb a month like $60 cad.
Fuckin stupid with regular usage and downloading bf3 I'm done and onto my phone's unlimited plan I got 3 years ago.
I'm on talktalk
i'm getting 30KBPS download speeds, enormous ping and a 40GB cap
and i can't switch either :suicide:
oh and did i mention that it cuts off every half an hour?
Pffft, forget torrenting anything useful... or gaming for that matter. :/
Satellite works on buffering data so gaming will flat out be impossible.
but I'm currently on 500kb/s for £150 /m, 18gb limit.
Something is wrong with this statement.
Or you've not changed your broadband package since 1995...
Overall Canada/US has better internet than most of Europe. A few countries such as Norway, Sweden (the "Norsk" countries) have good internet, but I'm currently on 500kb/s for £150 /m, 18gb limit.
Which are these "Norsk" countries you speak of? Scandinavia?
Ever since Dantalk wanted to be #1 and Sweden found out that you can put cables ontop of the ground instead of below it, we've had the fastest average connections in the world, allowing users in the middle of nowhere to get a +10Mbit, even over wireless networks such as 4G
