Should I get a 5970 to cross fire with my 5870?... I'll have to wait to see what Crysis 2 specs are though. If I could still run it without an upgrade. I will be so disappointed.

Of course you can. CryEngine 3 is running at basically high spec on the PS3 and Xbox 360. CryEngine 3 is basically just really optimized CryEngine 2.

So a single 5870 won't max it?
When you benchmark, if you let it run one full round before benchmarking, it will load the models and textures in memory beforehand and give more accurate benchmarking results.
The score also doesn't seem to scale with resolution and other settings, it seems.

Depends on what Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic Filtering settings you consider maxed out.

As high as money can buy. That makes no sense, but yes, EVERYTHING to the highest settings. But at high resolutions you can't tell the difference with or without AA and Anisotropic Filtering right?

And you don't need anti aliasing in Crysis. The default blurring looks better in my opinion. Anisotropic filtering isn't affected by resolution and it doesn't affect performance. Set it to 16.
