You have to find out how so you can help me and alphaspida.
Adaptive AA isn't on
I don't use anti aliasing i use MLAA but i had fps problems even before i used MLAA. I just don't get why i get good fps in DoW 2 and BC2. Maybe my cpu is to slow for the source engine since its really cpu intensive.
My CPU is a Phenom II x4 965... Definitely would not decrease fps
Oh mhh thats really odd then i have an E6700 which i overclocked to 3 GHZ. You know even GTA IV runs good i can run it well if i have water and shadows turned off.

Its annoying i want to play tf2 again with playable fps :(
TF2 and CSS for me are playable, but no where near the fps I got with them before I reformatted. My main concern is Garrys mod. [editline]6th March 2011[/editline] I should list the steps I have taken to try and solve the problem: 1. Restarted 2. Reinstalled games effected 3. Reinstalled steam 4. Reinstalled multiple graphics drivers versions inc. same ones. 5. Changed every possible setting in games effected inc. CCC options 6. Cleaned CPU/reapplied thermal paste 7. Even reformatted again - In your case
Did all that stuff what you did too but are other games of you affected as well? I don't have bad fps in games like bc2 and dow2 retribution.
Other games run great

Everything is fine with the cpu speed and temps.
Speccy HTML link, please?
Its in the OP.
Try removing your overclock?
I already did that and it didn't do anything.
I still cant fix it.
Get a better cpu then a core 2 duo. The hell is the matter with you people HE HAS A CORE 2 DUO! Even the mother fuckers at best buy will say that's not for gaming. You good sir need a new motherboard cpu and ram at least, if you want any higher fps then what you're getting. You really shouldn't be getting good fps in anything the reason why you would get good fps in some games is because of their performance detection BC2 will go down direct X levels if you don't have good enough hardware. You barley meet the requirements for most of the games that have come out lately. Why do you have a 5770 and a core 2 duo? the 5770 is sitting there waiting for more frames to render because the cpu can't send shit to it fast enough because it's to busy calculating where that shell casing is going to land or that part of the exploding command centre.

Because you know i used to get over 120 fps in all source games and i also had about 80 fps with sc2 with everything on max.
[QUOTE=Strikebango;28382476]tf2 uses 3GB and most games with my programs in background use up about 2,75GB of 4GB. [/QUOTE] That can't be right. There is no way TF2 can use 3GB or even get close to 1.5
Idk my pc tells me that tf2 used up 2,5 gb of ram.
I still don't understand why I get 50+ fps in Crysis with all high settings yet source games struggle.

Tell me how i can run BC 2 at full without any lag at a resolution of 1920x1200 ? yet i struggle in tf2 with my fps?
It's god's will that you get good fps in anything. I haven't got any idea why you would even be able to run bc2 at any fps with that processor. [editline]8th March 2011[/editline] How can you? You shouldn't be at all. [editline]8th March 2011[/editline] I've tried to run bc2 at a lower res with a 260 and a dual core amd at 3.1 ghz and got shit. I upgraded to a quad and got gold.
BC2 lagged when i had a 7900 GTX but with my HD5770 it doesnt lag. [editline]8th March 2011[/editline] Here is a demo of tf2 [url]http://filesmelt.com/dl/ok2.dem[/url] I tried the following: High Fps config, Put Everything to low as well the Resolution no fps difference.

Also your point is so uneducated and random that i feel like you are trolling.
Yeah I've been listening to a-lot of Charlie Sheen bullshit on the radio and it's rotting my brain. I'm going to go-ahead and peace out from this thread because I'll turn into him because I think I'm right.
So did someone watched my demo?
