Yeah I've been listening to a-lot of Charlie Sheen bullshit on the radio and it's rotting my brain. I'm going to go-ahead and peace out from this thread because I'll turn into him because I think I'm right.
:wtc:
Anyone?
Please someone look at my demo i posted above.
Why? It wouldn't show anything. It's a recording of the actions you took and we'd be rendering everything - it wouldn't show you well your PC performed or anything..
It doesn't show anything? Damn you're useless
Doesnt it show fps and lag etc? I thought it was to use: record ok2
Please help me.
format, i dont know, there's not much other troubleshooting to do.
I already formated my pc and reinstalled win 7 64 bit and it didnt worked.
I just had to look... If you've reformatted and checked your bios then there isn't anything wrong. I'm standing by what I said your pc is bad and you're in denial.
Just looked CPU is a little weak, You're majorly in denial.
Core 2 duo's are really good cpu's and can outperform quad cores with lower clock speeds due to not all games supporting 4 cores. Also your point is so uneducated and random that i feel like you are trolling.
I have the fucking same problem as him and I have a Phenom II x4 965 tards
Its seems like this problem is unfixable, also tf2 released a update with some optimizing which may give better fps gonna check that out.
Try resetting your BIOS' to default?
Already did that as well.
I hope its fixed when i buy my new pc.
So appentrly its your resolution i had to put it from 1920x1200 to 1440x900, which is odd to me since it ran well all the time at 1920x1200, try this alpha.
Check if the HDD's are running at DMA mode. Check for heavy disk fragmentation, check for correct configuration of virtual memory. Other than that, and looking at what people tried here, i smell some motherboard failure here. I'm a IT technician a i had some cases that look similar to this and turned out to be a dying mobo. Most probably some capacitors in your mobo passed out.
This is probably an old topic but I would like to share how I fixed my garry's mod fps problem. Deleting the cl.db file.
And what does the cl.db file do? also i have low fps again highest i get in gmod even while usind dx8 is 30 fps which is bad.
C2D plus Windows 7 plus games = a bad time.
Mhh odd that i can run bc2 at max without any problems huh?
Mhh odd that i can run bc2 at max without any problems huh?
nope.avi It's a good processor but it's still not a quadcore if you want to play games these days need more then a dual core at 2.6. Don't give me that "I run BC2 on max herp derp" shit, not all games will run the same. If you want to play pc games you have to invest the money and that means buying something more then a C2D. Look the cheapest i5 which is 3.1 with Turbo is only $185 and the C2D you have is around that if you can't afford to keep specs up to date you're in the wrong platform.
My c2d runs at 3 ghz , and also i can really run the game on max but in games like gta iv i have to turn off shadows for it to run smoothly but i know that my pc is old , but i got to wait and then i gonna get the new bulldozer cpu from amd and new mobo , ram etc.
It's still a dual core and you should have a quad. There isn't anything wrong with your pc it's just not made to play modern games.
It's still a dual core and you should have a quad. A C2D is far from being a bad CPU, he's already stated that he's been able to play the games with high framerates before, plus, I've had the same problem, and I've got an i5 750. It's the GPU's fault. And you comparing a dual core AMD Athlon with a C2D has to be some of the stupidest shit I've seen in H&S. Go back watching MLP.
Well im getting good fps on other games but Source games get low frames as well as Sc2
It's still a dual core and you should have a quad. There isn't anything wrong with your pc it's just not made to play modern games.
Holy shit. I know absolutely nothing about any of this stuff, but I can tell that you are just completely ignorant and unable to read. He had a drop from 300+ FPS to about 40, and the other guy has the same problems with a Phenom II. You just have this stupid elitism about having a quad-core processor that most games don't even use.
I still dont get why it does this I get just fine fps in games like bc2 and even Crysis runs better than source games or sc2.
