probably because H&S wasn't around a pair of years ago - it's always been this terrible as far as i recall
Why first pic have ATi sticker on fan?
ati sucks anyway. nvidia cards are more for the price (User was banned for this post ("Troll" - birkett))
Are you joking? AMD has a much better budget range than Nvidia. While buying my new budget computer I couldn't find a good Nvidia card anywhere.
Looks like any 5830+ Graphics card.
Well it is, they're not doing anything terribly exciting, they're just making "5000+" here.

I don't think there's enough watermarks on the pictures... You can almost make out what looks like a graphics card under ChipHell's logos...
Are you joking? AMD has a much better budget range than Nvidia. While buying my new budget computer I couldn't find a good Nvidia card anywhere.
if you mean like $60 then ok
But... I just bought an HD 5850!
People seem to forget that an Nvidia 460 is a great price/performance card. The 6000 series is starting off at the 6700 series, most likely the series will be a 5-10% performance increase over the 5000 series; just that the price of the 6000 series will be 50-100$ more than the 5000 series. AMD and it's selling point, "With the release of Nvidia's dx11 cards coming out within the few months, we've decided to crank down on the 6000 series a bit and release it as soon as possible. What do we have? Why, DX11.1 of course!" Mind you, there's still only 3-4 dx11 games that actually show off dx11 in all it's glory.
ati sucks anyway. nvidia cards are more for the price (User was banned for this post ("Troll" - birkett))
you mean AMD cards :fuckyou:
you mean AMD cards :fuckyou:
Or Radeon, since the cards are still going to be released as Radeon 6/7/8/9 series, right?
God damn'it how much bigger do they need to get?
God damn'it how much bigger do they need to get?
The only limit is beyond the wall.
The length of the cards today is just laziness in the PCB engineers. I have made PCBs fora living before, and it's the engineers job for parts placement. There's no reason a high-end graphics card should take up more than 7 inches of length in a case, other than the engineer's laziness. To be quite honest, they probably don't even give a flying fuck. :buddy:
Your Epeen gets longer with your graphics card, that's why end game cards are long.
somehow I don't believe this
you shouldn't believe anything pixelheart says, for a while, he tried to convince everybody he was a girl
Well if these are a bit bigger then my current setup then new case here I come!
longcard is l00000000000oooooo00000000ng [editline]08:33PM[/editline] dun squash image liek bug plz [editline]08:33PM[/editline] im funny
I don't see how the dumbass long image joke came about because the cards aren't that long compared to nVidia.
It came about because of the 5970. Which really is ridiculously long.
That card is one of the sexiest I've ever seen. :golfclap:
I like MSi cyclone setups better. It's like lingerie for graphics cards.

Though I think it ought to have a second fan.

wood screws
A second fan would indeed benefit that ASUS card.
yeah really, the fan that's there isn't even over the GPU
I think the idea with the design is airflow and not mindlessly blowing on the GPU. Which means the intake shouldn't be bigger than the outlet.
