hi welcome to 2007 may i take your coat
hi, it's great to be back in 2007 and all but he's referring to quad core processors coming to the new macbook pro which was released in 2011, it's new for apple hardware and it's even more powerful for apple software
apple is even worse than those knock off companies that present something old and call it new. wait
apple is even worse than those knock off companies that present something old and call it new. wait
so you're saying that having a quad core processor on a macbook is old? you're sort of ridiculous
Yeah Alienware did it first, much more portable and reliable eh?
Yeah Alienware did it first, much more portable and reliable eh?
it's not a competition of who did what first, it's a competition of who does it right first. (and it's funny because you're comparing an overpriced product to another overpriced product)
it's not a competition of who did what first, it's a competition of who does it right first. (and it's funny because you're comparing an overpriced product to another overpriced product)
So now Apple is the first one to "do it right"?
it's not a competition of who did what first, it's a competition of who does it right first. (and it's funny because you're comparing an overpriced product to another overpriced product)
Fair comparison then? :v:
Holy shit Quad-core processors!? I feel like I'm living in the future!!
It was more of my excitement of Apple doing things I have predicted since three years ago in one swell foop
So now Apple is the first one to "do it right"?
Not necessarily referring to the quad-core situation, but the laptop as a whole. Cnet's review of the M17 says the battery life lasted 1 and a half hours during video playback. I'm sure the quad-core has a part it in. The new Macbook Pro has a lower battery but it's not as low as 1 and a half hours until the thing dies.
Graphics performance seems to be worse in the 13" and 15" MBP's but the CPU and RAM is a big improvement. http://www.primatelabs.ca/blog/2011/02/macbookpro-benchmarks-early-2011/ The slowest MacBook Pro performs on par with the fastest previous-generation MacBook Pro, and the fastest MacBook Pro is 80% faster than the fastest previous-generation MacBook Pro. The fastest MacBook Pro is faster than a lot of Mac Pros (including the current generation of Mac Pros). HOT DAMN

I'm not defending Alienware anyway, so what the hell. Posing from my new 15" macbook pro :D
