So I was browsing the internet and such with my trusty old Firefox. I noticed that it was taking up an unusually large number of CPU cycles and decided to restart it.
I open the Start Menu to click on the FF icon only to get an error message...
"The item 'firefox.exe' that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly."
What? ._. I check my quick launch bar. Same error. I look at Rocket Dock and the FF icon has changed to a question mark. So after a quick search, it appears that the .exe for Firefox has simply... disappeared.
Uhm... Halp?
Get Google Chrome. Way faster

I didn't tell him to get rid of Firefox dumb ass. I simply told him that there is a better program to use. Isn't that we're supposed to do in threads? Help people? Something wrong with me trying to help someone?

Firefox > Chrome. Come back when Chrome has thousands of addons.
Either one works. How was mine wrong?
because he didnt ask for a different browser. and it would be much easier to reinstall firefox than to get a new browser and get all the settings he wants. not to mention, chrome has no addons. o wait, i just did.

Well, I reinstalled and it seems to have kept everything... except for the skin. Which is weird... Thanks. :o

Sorry. I started this thread to get mine back working again, not to get a new browser. :3:
It probably was the skin that you had running on Firefox, or one of your addons. Sometimes addons can mess around with the install.
