AFAIK no. [editline]1st April 2017[/editline] Also Zombii, just from seeing your board with its num/caps lock indicator LED's, I need to get some for my own board when it comes in on Monday.
Windowed LED keys are bae. I want to buy some blank ones for my f-keys
Alright after some financial happenings I'm back in the market. Anyone here got a 60% they're trying to unload? Figured I'd check with you guys first. Really not trying to spend more than $200, don't care what switches because I have my own. [editline]2nd April 2017[/editline] Or caps, really don't need them if you want to keep them. I'll probably use my spare vortex side prints until I decide on another set.
EDIT: Actually I just realized I don't have anything to ship it in.

Other than that, I just recently sold my Poker II /w mx blues for $70 so you missed out on that.
I still have both a Pok3r with MX blues for 100 that is completely stock and my Poker II that is modified for 250
I still have both a Pok3r with MX blues for 100 that is completely stock and my Poker II that is modified for 250
Would you be opposed to selling just the switches/case on your Poker II? You'd probably have better luck parting it out or putting a less expensive case on it.
Yeah if you want to part it at all pm me with the details. I'm trying to avoid buying a board with switches if I can but I realize that is difficult

I'm looking for a good general purpose / gaming keyboard. What do you guys recommend?
IBM Model M
I'm looking for a good general purpose / gaming keyboard. What do you guys recommend?
Depends on your budget and ideal form-factor. Poker II's are inexpensive and reliable. Corsair K70 is a good 'entry' level board. Cooler Master Rapidfire TKL's are also a good alternative. This thread seems about crazy custom stuff now but does anyone make a UK 68key with filco ninja style keycaps?
This thread seems about crazy custom stuff now but does anyone make a UK 68key with filco ninja style keycaps?
Clueboard supports ISO layout and is pretty close to what you are looking for. Unless you really need the extra features a custom pcb provides, you're better off buying a board that has already been made. Alternatively maybe the magicforce is what you're looking for?
you mean this for the magicforce? for the price it looks worth trying but its only blacks on the unlit version and £20 more for reds and leds also the keycaps arnt what id like and a replacement set is as much as the keyboard
Ok, my Ducky Pocket finally arrived, it's awesome. Unfortunately looks like I don't like browns, after using ergoclears they just feel like weird linears. Maybe someday I'll figure out how to get it open (only four visible screws on the plate, none under the rubber feet, not sure what else is holding it together) and swap them for gat blacks.

The switch type you have really doesn't make a realistic difference on your ability or performance in games. Personally I've never experienced issues playing a variety of games with a Model M, despite lots of people worrying about the key rollover.
You can push 4+ keys on 2KRO boards. I've had keyboards that don't do it properly and while gaming in that small part of the keyboard it causes issues.
Are there any keyboards other than the Red Scarf III that are real compact, ISO compatible and have a numpad? That'd probably be the ideal layout for me.
Duck Lightsaver
as far as kustoms go there is also the cp-sq
how long does the lettering last on the magic force? id replace the caps with the ones from my filco but it doesnt have the additional functions being 88
The only issue I've had with gaming on a model M is in GTA when I'm trying to do a burnout and rotate the car, but I just use the mouse to turn the wheels in that situation only. Other than that IMO, as long as you can press the keys, it doesn't really matter at all I'm probably not playing the kind of games that require you to press 32 keys at once tho

Depends on how much you want to spend and what set you're looking for exactly. You can get most oem profile and dsa/gmk/sa profiles for cheap on massdrop most of the time if you don't mind waiting several months.
