Ah. Well, people tell me Vista is bad and I should upgrade but I have not once had problems with this OS.
Also, is this video card any good? The one you listed I tried looking up and the reviews didn't come back to good:

That's the 7750, it's the lowest end budget card in the newest generation of AMD cards. The 7850 will be far better in every aspect, especially gaming performance.
Reviews are the vocal minority, people are more inclined to give their thoughts over a negative experience rather than a positive one. I just picked the cheapest dual fan 7850 on Newegg, Sapphire is a great brand and it's a very low probability that you'll have problems with a card.

Hey um why is everyone recommending him getting a overclockable cpu? Might as well save a few dollars and get the non "K" version. If he doesn't want to put the computer together him self he probably doesn't want to overclock either.

or spend the few dollar incase he does want to overclock the price between a 3570 and a 3570k is $15 dollar and in the grand scheme of things its not that much considering the performance he can get from it if he wants to overclock.
I've overclocked before, I know how lol
Got a job working at sonic, 4 hours a day (on school days) and as many as I want weekends. minimum wage.
should I save up to get the original build, or the cheaper build? it'll take a lot longer than my old job considering i make like a dollar fifty less than before and there's tax.
just save, by the time you have enough then next gen stuff will be out
