G5.
This.
Are you sure his one wasn't faulty or something? I'm buying it anyway, if it doesn't work I'll just get a refund and buy a Logitech or something.
if it was faulty, it'd be just one button or maybe two every button was like it, so it's far more likely it's just a bad piece of hardware
except older, and cheaper. :smug:
Too light, too much plastic.
Besides rubber I've never seen a mouse that doesn't have a plastic body, now saying cheap plastic, or light plastic would make sense.
Weird shape, but it's surprisingly comfortable to game with
holy shit, thats the same one i have
holy shit, thats the same one i have
holy shit?! really? They made more than one? lol sorry, I just think it's funny to see 'OMG YOU'VE GOT THE SAME FATAL1TY HEADSET AS ME!!! CREEPY!" posts.
Besides rubber I've never seen a mouse that doesn't have a plastic body, now saying cheap plastic, or light plastic would make sense.
I said light.
I said light.
The way you worded it sounded different, as in the weight of the mouse overall was not heavy enough, and there was to much plastic.
my mx518 rox
The way you worded it sounded different, as in the weight of the mouse overall was not heavy enough, and there was to much plastic.
You fail at word association.
my mx518 rox
yea, i just used my for the fist time while gaming and was so smooth compared to my old LX-7
You fail at word association.
what you said implied that the mouse was lightweight. if that is not what you meant, then it is you who lacks coherency
what you said implied that the mouse was lightweight. if that is not what you meant, then it is you who lacks coherency
Too much plastic doesn't mean 50lb of plastic, it means more plastic than metal or whatever else is usually in mice. Means more plastic than, say, rubber. This right here is what essentially renders it too light and, therefore, of lesser quality.

Yarrr, she's a lovely beastie and she's served me well, I can't operate without the two side buttons, and I love the way the button with the windows on it does absolutely nothing. I've used it so much the black on the logitech logo is wearing off. Oh and it's covered in a huge amount of dirt, it's worse than my keyboard, which is eons old.

Drives me nuts whenever I have to use someone else's mouse. The button with windows on it does the same thing as Windows + Tab for me.
At least it's functional.
I have a G5..but I was thinking of picking up a Habu, cuz it looks nicer. :v:
I want a Logicool G9x I love japan ^_^ Or a Logicool G15v2 Japanese are so efficient they don't even need as large of a space bar, wastes space -_-
Is the Habu worth it? Over a G5, I mean.
Is the Habu worth it? Over a G5, I mean.
I love the way the MX518,G5,G7 feel so I would recommend the G5, that's just me though.
Currently, I have this; however, I'm getting g9 for my birthday :psyched:
Logitech G5. The logo on the front of the mouse has completely worn off and you can see where my fingers always go because of the dirt.
This... and... You can slightly rub the dirt of if you try, I think...
MX518 Great and lasts forever
The wire in mine started to short out so I RMA'd it. I ended up fixing it before the new one got here so now I have two :)
So I've decided to buy the MX Revolution, despite what others have said. Especially now since it's on sale. $40 USD / $45 CAD off instantly + free shipping! If you plan to buy one, now's the time to get it. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104015
