Roccat you bastards you sell everywhere except North and South America :bang: (some other places too :\)
you can do batter than the kone anyways. I mean, I'm sure it's at least a decent mouse, but all the hype seems to be primarily because of advertising and gimmicks. now reapninja can make some counterargument, to which I have already responded to several times, and I won't do it again.

oh gods I'm in a dilemma Overclockers lowered the G5 from £40 to £30, and now it's been brought down to £27 Before I was prepared to pay the £8 difference for a Kone but now the difference is huge Do I buy the G5 or get the Kone for my birthday in 5 days time quick facepunch solve my crisis I am in need.
Kone, G5 is too clunky for my liking.
G5, kone is too gimmicky for my liking.
Mx518
Mx518
well at the moment the G5 is the same price as the MX518 I'll be going with the Kone, it's for my birthday so I might as well go with the most expensive seeing as I haven't asked for anything else
Well G5 did cost 50€ in my local shop and Mx518 30€ so it's quite big difference and well it's been like half year since i bought my M518.
it amazed me that the G5 went down so much, and it only went down at some point in the last week
Had a G5 a long while back...had nothin but problems and after 3 factory replacements I gave up. Went to a Diamondback 3G for maybe 2 years until I recently picked up a Mamba D:
G5, kone is too gimmicky for my liking.
And the G5 isn't a gimmick?
And the G5 isn't a gimmick?
Hell no. The weights are actually quite useful. If it's something about Razer mice, other than the cheap feeling of them, it's the weight that pisses me off. Being able to mess with the weight is amazing.
I have a Razer mouse and it doesn't feel cheap. Weights don't make your mouse any better.
Yeah, they do. My sister has a Razer (model name starts with L, forgot) and it's light as hell. Feels cheap and shitty compared to my solid G5.
And the G5 isn't a gimmick?
not half as much as the kone. yeah it's got a little "pro gamer" advertising, but thats it. the kone on the other hand, holy shit they have advertised the fuck out of it, and not for it's utility, just cause it's "pro". the page is full of shit like "pro-aim sensor" and "turbocore!!!11!!!!one!1!" Logitech advertises based on utility and functionality, not words they created and "u will b pro if u buy our shit k"
Yeah, they do. My sister has a Razer (model name starts with L, forgot) and it's light as hell. Feels cheap and shitty compared to my solid G5.
Lachesis?
Yep.
Kone, G5 is too clunky for my liking.
Yes I agree, the G5 does feel clunky, I'm considering getting a new mouse. Anyone have any recommendations for something that rests easier in the hand?
And my laptop trackpad. Even though I do play a lot of games on my PC, I just don't see the point in spending excessive amounts of money on a mouse.
