It doesn't emulate PS1 games yet. From what I understand a key component that does that (SIF2) isn't emulated.
Found it

what are minimum specs required to emulate gamecube?
Depends on the game mainly. I'd say dual core, 64bit OS and DX10 GPU is recommended.
From their forums
[release]======= System Requirements =======
* Operating System: Microsoft Windows (2000/XP/Vista or higher) / Linux / Apple Mac OS X (Intel version).
* Processor: Any Fast CPU with SSE2 supported (recommended at least 2Ghz). Dual Core for speed boost. use cpu-z to see if your cpu supports it( and google cpu-z dont ask us!)
* Graphics: Any graphics card that supports Direct3D 9 or OpenGL 2.1.[/release]
I'm streaming me playing some Nintendo 64 emulations (such as Majora's mask), and maybe (if I can get it to work) some Gamecube emulations.
Is this not illegal?
After 10 years its legal just dont profit from it.
I have found a shit-load of roms, iso's, that has just about everything.

I used to love emulators, I used them all the time. Then I realised that if I wanted to play console games, it was better to play them on the console, the way it was meant to be played. You just don't get the same experiencie.
no PS2 games I own work properly on PCSX2, instead i chipped my PS2 so i cam play games i cant find in the shop (okami for example).

Also I heard there is a problem with lasers in some PS2s my v12 is one of the ones affected, what's all that about?

Depends on how good the emulator is at doing it's job.
For example PCSX2 it horribly gimped compared to playing on a real PS2, even with a playstation-style gamepad plugged to to pc running the emulator.
While (as some people in this thread have proven) most Nintendo Wii games are great with certain emulators, often including improved HD upscaling.
Or ZSnes, which can play pretty much all Super Nintendo games with second to none bugs (though I have personally experienced one bug in Zelda for Super Nintendo, but it was only a minor cosmetic one).
And since there exists USB gamepads, and pretty much any computer can be hooked up to a TV, the only handicap is the emulator and the computer hardware (in terms of CPU and GPU processing power)
I had no problems with PCSX2 whatsoever except some graphical glitches, but the advantages like I posted on first page outnumber them. I think Snes9x is much better SNES emulator and this gamepad is best for everything (for me)

On the subject of gamepads, Logitech's new F series gamepads are quite brilliant. I myself own the wireless version, f710 and I just want to share with you all that whatever you do, DON'T BUY THE FUCKING F710. The wireless range and reception is HORRIBLE. Don't get me wrong, the controller itself is great but stay the fuck away from the wireless version. Get the corded f510 (with rumble) or f310 (without rumble).

I have one of those. Lost it. Now I use an identical one that also has rumble. It was $2.
I just use my wired 360 controller for that stuff. Works fine for the most part.
Yeah I would but mine leans to the left and I'm very lazy and won't call MS.
What kills me about Dolphin is that it runs Windwaker in such gorgeous beauty but has little to no audio...which....kills me...because the audio, music, effects, the "secret discovered sound" is a large part of what makes Zelda awesome.
Also ... perhaps someone can help me. I'm running the newest version of PCx2 ps2 emulator and cannot seem to upscale (even 2x native) without getting black lines in the screen.
I should make a note to people...PCX2 Ps2 emulator runs damn well...ran God of War 2, Soul Calibur 2 & 3 and MK Armageddon flawlessly other than the fact whenever a higher resolution is chosen that the screen has black lines running vertical on it.
Anyone know a fix?
(im using a i7 930 w/gtx260)
Pcx2 runs metal gear solid 2 pretty badly, but it runs MGS3 fine, weird.
Also quick Q: Can the Wii Emulator do Twilight Princess...with audio?
Also quick Q: Can the Wii Emulator do Twilight Princess...with audio?
Yes of course, it runs great.
Yes of course, it runs great.
Good to know. Windwaker on Dolphin is a travesty cuz it looks so awesome. The audio just wasn't there and many people complained of a black screen of doom at some point in the game.

That's good too, but what about obscure and rare consoles? Mind you, I do take the console over the emulator where possible. Hence I have like 4 different models of GBA, a GBC, NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Dreamcast, Atari 2600, Atari Jaguar, PS1, PS2, and DS.
Edit; and a fuckload of other systems nobody cares about. I got a Sega Genesis with 4 games for £10, hell yeah.
Y'all are just jealous because my TV setup looks like an alien command station

Use some speedhacks. Also if you're playing original MGS3 then it makes sense, because the camera is positioned from top like RTS games which speeds the game up. Try to run MGS3 Subsistence which has MGS2 thirdperson camera and you'll see how the game lags due to viewing the surroundings.
I get 5 fps and texture errors while playing Super Mario Sunshine on Dolphin :smith:

This one?

It's supposed to run fine unless your PC is very old.
Try new versions if you haven't yet.

If I connect my wiimote to my PC, Can I play the games with wiimote abilities?
Like Mario Kart Wii with that steering n stuff?

I did use speedhacks, but I can't get it so the cutscenes don't stutter every few seconds or that the gameplay slows down during boss fights.
[editline]25th May 2011[/editline]
and the game is like 40% cutscenes anyways.

Nostalgia. I played this a lot as a kid. I'm in training mode because my friend has yet to return my wired 360 controller, and I do not find 3d fighting games comfortable to play with the Keyboard.
That's Budokai/Budokai 2 right?
I just downloaded mame and extracted both the downloaded file and the one inside. This may sound idiotic, but where is the mame.exe?
Wait, downloaded the wrong one. Accidentally downloaded the source code. Oops.

Yes Indeedy, I also have some MGS here
