I need help with dolphin emulator, when playing Wind Waker, after cut scenes or during black loading screens, it would usually freeze during it, unless i mash start then it might have a chance of loading, any help?
Check their forums, or the game compatibility list. Those usually say what plugins each game runs best with.
Every emulator I have ever used seems to slow down tons when dust is kicked up, tons is relative, like from 60fps to 30fps. Main issue is audio stutter.
Now I'm super excited to be building a new computer soon. I can't wait to emulate Gamecube and PS2.
Also, I have a bunch of Emulators on my phone. (Galaxy S).
Here are some of the best android emulators online for free.
(The author of them is releasing them for free temporarily so get them while they're hot.)

Even the N64 emulator is nearly flawless.
Also, here is a great PSX Android emulator. Worth every penny. I've played through Medievil almost entirely without any problems. (Cutscenes are often slow, though.)

Super Mario 64 runs with no errors at full speed on my phone

Awesome, the N64 emulator on the PSP isn't even at that level yet
Awesome, the N64 emulator on the PSP isn't even at that level yet
Well a PSP has a weak processor and 32 MB of RAM, a Galaxy S has 1GHz and 384 MB.

Literally, the only problem I have with emus on my phone is that controls are hard on the touch screen. That's it.

Because PSP's HW is from 2004. Also only the original 1000 model has 32MB RAM. 2000/3000/Go have 64MB RAM.
And here is some media
Wolfenstein 3D (3DO)

Can anybody help me with project 64? It doesn't seem to work at all! Anybody want to provide the best settings etc for it?
You should post what exactly is the problem like is it error, crash etc.
Also if it's some specific game it might help, too.
Prject 64 has worked well for me.
In Mario Kart 64, Razor Freestyle Scooter and Hydro Thunder.
Lego Racer 64 was bad though.
I am playing emulated Gran Turismo 2 right now, but Gran Turimo 4 doesn't work in PCSX2 :(

Same here, i'm using the actual disc, it gets to the part in the intro where it says loads of shit about trademarks, then just freezes
NTSC version should work fine not sure about PAL one.
Try latest version if you haven't already
http://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/
Also you should make ISO. Using disc will result in long loading and additional lag.
Wii Menu. If only it had any practical use :|

I tried an ISO, it didnt load at all
Not sure if this is the best place, but I've been meaning to mess about and find some decent games for the Wii. Anybody got any recommendations for Wii games that I can ~buy and rip to an ISO~?

Super Smash Brothers Brawl is amazing

Well then try new version if you didn't and post your CRC which you can find by running game Misc>Show Console and it's somewhere in console.
This is my CRC
Game CRC = 0x33C6E35E
Why is it that I can't seem to find any good Doom or Wolfenstein ports for the Android?

Well it technically works, but in races it's slow as shit (unplayable) and there's artifacting sometimes.

Oh well then
I'm too old for the internet
I hear phone and I think 90s cell phones
I'll just stick to using my PSP for pokemon gold. I DO have a gameboy but god damn the screen
Well, this is the third time I've experienced the issue in metroid prime on dolphin where killing an enemy has caused me to be blown into limbo for no apparent reason. First 2 times it was those puffer things from magmoor caverns, this time it was a metroid in the research core of the phendrana base. I should really just savestate more :sigh:
Well I tried playing Super Mario 64 and it was really choppy and the audio was pretty fucked on it.
Anyone here know how to make POV buttons work as dpad buttons with ePSXe?
The PS2/1 to USB adapter that I have, when you enable the Dualshock analog sticks and buttons, it makes the Dpad buttons show as Point-of-view buttons like you'd see on a joystick designed for flying sims.
If I can't figure how to make it work properly, I'll consider trying some remapping software to map the buttons to some keys on the keyboard and do it that way.

Tried Xpadder?
Some of the older versions are free.
But if you've already tried that, then just ignore me.
I ended up using Xpadder for now.
I'm using a GBA emulator for my android phone, surprisingly good.
My G2 can run most N64 games flawlessly. I only wish that there could some how be multiplayer...
ROMs are a legal gray area: If you own the game and download a ROM of it, it's perfectly legal. If not, it's illegal.
Also I have to agree with emulation being visually better. With emulation you can run at much higher resolutions compared to consoles, and have texture filtering, anti aliasing, etc.
oh ok i see,so i think im downloading my 567 games "coff coff" for the emulator!
-snip-
I would snip that.
[editline]29th July 2011[/editline]
I mean, you could probably get away with that if you didn't do the "coff coff" thing.
