Been having to lately, the PSU fan is going nuts so I need to sparta kick the tower once in a while to stop the racket.
I've never hit my computer, but I've broke a G15, Microsoft Comfort Curve, and a generic Microsoft mouse. I broke my G15 because I thing the tabs that held the spacebar in broke, I tried super gluing them back on, kinda failed spilled ramen in the carpet, and knocked over a bottle of super glue fucking everywhere. The keyboard was pretty fucked anyways before and now it was covered in superglue and fucked to shit so I went on a crazy rage.
I used to hit my old computer.
MOUSE SMASH alot
I got bored and slapped the side of my case wile it was on. Every fan stopped spinning then spun up again, they hit the screens their screwed too. One other time wile I was trying to see if my cpu cooler was spinning at normal speed like it should, I put my finger in it and it really fucked up my finger I couldn't feel it for 3 days. [editline]04:03PM[/editline] Oh I smashed a keyboard till a few keys came out. I tried to put them back in and did so but I then realized that I riped the plug off the wire .
I used to when I was little.
One time a certain person (Fat British Girl if you're an OIFYer) was pissing me off so much I punched my 17" Dell Genesis monitor and it flew right back, hit the window and landed on the radiator, not even a dent or anything, I punched it right in the center of the display too, and it's a TFT. I still have it but I'm using a 20" Viewsonic now :3
i only hit it lightly when some fan starts making weird noises.

No, anyway why would I, it's stupid. Also at the above poster's video, wow he made some mistakes in stepmania and then says "I should stop playing". No shit.
I'm mature, and don't rage while playing a game recreationally, that's just stupid.
Also this, the furthest I would ever go is swearing quietly to myself. If all else fails I just disconnect from my current game (if online), find a new one, or just quit altogether and do something else. [editline]12:11PM[/editline]
when i had a shit box pc(lol 5 years ago) the fan was loud as shit, i use to punch it to make it quiet.
I find stuff like this kinda funny actually. Although hitting a computer is unnecessary, it's only funny in regard if it actually fixes something. Also my older desktop had a very loud CPU cooler fan, I simply cleaned out the collected dust and applied some sowing machine oil to it. Made it much quieter than before.
No.
Yeah I do it when my computer fans are touching something and making noise. It works most of the time.
This.
I've hit my keyboard, but I have never once kicked/hit my pc... seems like it would hurt a lot more or cause something expensive to break.
When I was a wee boy with anger issues, I used to hit it a lot. A couple of times, I hit it so hard it restarted.
I would never hit her- I mean, it. it's cost me about $1000, I'm careful with expensive shit. especially monitors. I don't know, I'm proud of my machine. I know that might seem odd or messed up to some of you, but that's how it is. I don't get angry at it. if anything goes wrong, it's my fault. but I've really messed up my cheapshit desk on several occasions, as well as carved depressed rantings into it with a pocketknife. don't ask.
I have, on my old computer. But not my new one. But, my friend has had a basketball thrown at his monitor.
I keep smashing my desk, i dont slam my pc though.
On my old PC. I once hit it out of pure rage of it having the worst virus ever (fucker wouldn't let me do shit) and the CD drive never opened again.
I don't hit stuff because I have self control.
Never really "Hit" the computer or monitor, Apart from a hard tap on the Box a few times if it froze, But i have slammed my desk's a few times in frustration over say, S4 league or something rage worthy.
Striking objects because they don't perform as we want them to is something best left to apes.
i still keep my crt to around just to punch the shit out of it
A couple months ago I accidentally knocked it over while it was on. Fortunately it didn't harm anything.
No, anyway why would I, it's stupid. Also at the above poster's video, wow he made some mistakes in stepmania and then says "I should stop playing". No shit.
Exactly, if you watch at the end he clearly shows and says that he put his head through his dry wall. :v:
I laugh at the people in this thread acting like their superior to people who hit their computers because they don't. It makes me giggle. Anyways, my computer still has a fucking CRT monitor, so instead of hurting my slowly-becoming-out-of-date computer, I punch the screen in moments of rage. The glass is fucking an inch thick, so I don't think anything's going to happen unless I really do go apeshit.
This is all I can think of for now.
Oh wow this guy reall has some issues! But yeah, after fucking my screen up THAT bad I sorta learned to control myself.
I don't anymore, I got some maturity :P I used to smash my mouse against the mousepad all the time (That mouse is broken now) Worst I do now is just curse to myself, but only if I get proper angry.
I've accidentally kicked it with my foot because I happened to want to move my foot in its general direction. Do I rage at my computer, yes, but I don't hit it. I know it won't make it any better. Computer's don't give two shits about physical abuse. ....unless it involves baseball bats, shotguns and dropping it from a high building.
I hit my computer to the floor when playing wow, ram came out D:
With my old ass pentium 4 I took a baseball bat and hit the case until it looked like a red banana. My friends thought it was as funny as hell. The really interesting part was the computer functioned perfectly fine. Got a new computer and the only damage to it is the side panel being bent because I rolled over it when I was building the computer. I can't bend it back either :c Oh and I'll kick my computer when a game or windows fucks up right when I was doing something important.
