Seriously. This has been going on the dev channel for ages.
Old news.
But it's a beta now, it's like saying: but the nightly build of firefox is exactly like the new release version, nothing new.
Are there any ad blockers for chrome that block those annoying ads on youtube videos?
The only three extensions I use in Firefox are Adblock+ (blocks those youtube ads), NoScript, and OptimizeGoogle which I really only use to filter experts-exchange.com out of my search results.
Uh. Just looked at the comments and it seems half the people making them are immature retards.
Also appears to be someone under the name 'Katharine' who's trying to tell everyone that all the adblockers are terrible except for one...
I'll switch as soon as there is an equivalent to Mozilla Weave. Chrome looks better and better every month.
Finally i can go back to chrome. :)

Goddamn never mind "unknown installer error"
Bye bye, Firefox 3.6 Beta. You shall be missed.

I think AdSweep might.. I'm not sure.. I just went on youtube and clicked a bunch of videos to check, and none of them had the little yellow line to tell you when ads are supposed to pop up. I can only assume that this either means that youtube has removed the popup ads, or that AdSweep removes them.

Edit: nvm the little slide up thingies on the videos are still there.
Edit edit: wait I'm pretty sure that the ad only showed up because it was an embedded video...
Well now's a good time for me to switch on over.
it's over, firefox is finished.
thank god I now have no excuse to use that ram hogging junk
I really want to switch, but I don't want to give up NoScript
:(

Oh, how people become such hypocrites.
I've been using Chrome for quite a while now but still sometimes used Firefox due to add-ons, now the only thing it has over chrome that I would notice is its apng support.
I guess I'm switching over to the beta
whos your daddy now firefox
So...who is going to start a list of the useful extensions?
For those that got a Installation problem. Press the "More information..." It should help. Did for me.
If you have to change in the registry, and are a Windows 7 user. Press "Edit" and then "Search...". Search for the regisrty entry, and do what it says at the help center.

No. Would never want that little girl on Chrome! Stupid meme.
Been working on a little extension that makes Google Image results go directly to the images.

Attempting some advanced features now, First time I've worked with Chrome extensions.
I really like how the addons just install and uninstall with a few clicks. No need to restart or anything.

Mozilla.
Allright, sorry for this tiny bump, but I've been having a slight issue with Chrome and VBulletin forums (like FP).
On other sites, when you are reading in the middle of a page and refresh (F5) you get sent back to the part you were reading. This does not work on VBulletin based forums like FP. Anyone else having this issue?
works fine for me, then again, i'm on dev channel. :smug:
So am I.
you're right, i said that before i actually knew for sure, same problem here :suicide:

I told one of my friends and he immediately reported it.
