Ah, I see. I checked on my ISP website, they provide a static IP for an extra cost of 4$ per month (along with the 35$ for the internet).
Shouldn't be a problem fixing that.

What can I say, yay sweden ^^

Alright guys, thanks for showing me what a static IP is but could someone please answer my original question and tell me what a server computer for 2 gmod servers would cost? And if you're in a good mood today, show me what parts I need <3

I get 10/10 Mbit with unlimited bandwidth for 35 dollars a month, and that's pretty average in Sweden :/

29 dollars actually unless you want uncapped bandwidth (I donno who here downloads 200gigs a month)
also, this is really good for canada, were a bit behind as far speed and bandwidth goes (bell changes 40 a month and you only get 60 gigs of bandwidth wtf?)
offtopic: I threatened I would leave them and I get 40 bucks a month for 260 gigs of bandwidth (more than I'll ever need) and their top speed thingy (which still sucks due to throttling and whatnot)

you download alot more than you think, watch some network traffic for 20 people, it can easily go over 50/75GB of data a day
wait do you mean in a game server or household
cause I monitor my usage with bell and i'm in a household of 4 and it usually just gets to 110 a month or so
Still waiting for that price estimate.. :/
Not sure if you have see the thread on the cluster rack servers I was building, but I can build each 1U node for around $250 (dual 3.6 GHZ Xeon, 1GB RAM, 80GB HDD, ASUS NCL-DS1, etc), if you know the right place to find parts at ridiculously low prices
