That's the best way to play lan! Also it's good you didn't block the internet. If you block off "bad" things, encountering them later in life when your not there or can't be there all the time will be worse.

I don't understand trying to stop..this isn't a kid, 14, TEEN from finding stuff you don't want him to know about as if it makes him a better person for not knowing. It doesn't. If he was at all brought up properly you shouldn't be worried.

Operate a whitelist, not a blacklist. Use the windows hosts file, not shitty software. Only give them access to an unprivileged user account.

Dunno if this has been suggested or not, but here's what I'd do in this situation. Make three accounts - one for you (administrator, duh, and with a password, also duh), one for your 14 year old (preferably limited, but if you trust him with admin feel free, and also passworded), and one for the 12 year old that can't even see a boob without having a panic attack. Install your parental controls program, tell it to ignore the 14 year old's account and restrict the 12 year old's. Give the 14 year old his password (and tell him NEVER to share it with the 12 year old EVER).
