I want to learn more about this linux on a usb pen!
http://www.scribd.com/doc/13257/Boot-Windows-XP-From-a-USB-Flash-Drive This way you can get on just about anything not to mention the fact that if a teacher sees it they won't know that it's some kind of hack unless you have some ridiculous background or theme or something. Just give it the same background as the school computers and you're good to go. [editline]07:40PM[/editline] Oh, you're using Vista. Try this then. Mods, if there is a problem with this link send me a private message saying to remove it or just edit it out yourself (if you can do that, I think you can) and it'll be gone. [editline]07:42PM[/editline] Just realized that the link I gave was a warez site. Just google Windows Vista live boot and you'll find something if you're smart enough to operate a normal computer.
I'm going to have to set up a proxy from home, and It's not like it's going to affect everyone, seeing as some people have spares and have nearly unrestricted access to school computers. :fappery:

I made a proxy on my site, it was all password protected, and completely secure. But they still managed to block it. :crying:
Perhaps this is why you can't use proper grammer in your thread titles. Perhaps you should catch up on that year 2 English work you've obviously not been doing.
Perhaps this is why you can't use proper grammer in your thread titles. perhaps you should catch up on that year 2 English work you've obviously not been doing.
Maybe you should put a capital after your full stop.
At least yours doesn't block facepunch. Ours is called lightspeed and blocks almost everything(except Kongregate, thank God).
Huh? maybe you should put a capital after your full stop.
Haha, funnily enough I replied to 'Huh?' but it makes just as much sense now.
OP, you realize this is to make you do your work? I think its a good idea to keep it on. Although Secure-tunnel is my personal web proxy of choice.
Maybe you should put a capital after your full stop.
Attacking others for the same faults as you isn't going to help you with those faults.
OP, you realize this is to make you do your work? I think its a good idea to keep it on. I know an absolutely fool-proof way to get around our schools proxy, it's pretty simple, but I doubt you'd be able to understand it.
I know an absolutely fool-proof way to get around our schools proxy, it's pretty simple.
Is it called going home and dicking around in your own time? Because that would be my suggestion too.
Is it called going home and dicking around in your own time? Because that would be my suggestion too.
No it's called when you're finished with your work and you have time to burn you do this
No it's called when you're finished with your work and you have time to burn you do this
Sorry, I thought you were doing the sensible thing, my mistake.
I know an absolutely fool-proof way to get around our schools proxy, it's pretty simple, but I doubt you'd be able to understand it.
Give the IT administrator a bj?
Give the IT administrator a bj?
This might work actually. Just make sure he likes 12 year olds first.
This might work actually. Just make sure he likes 12 year olds first.
He wouldn't have taken the job if he didn't.
Give the IT administrator a bj?
:hurr:
At least yours doesn't block facepunch. Ours is called lightspeed and blocks almost everything(except Kongregate, thank God).
We have that too, it isn't very hard to get past if you know what you're doing in the bios menu. Our school even has some bios override thing that makes it boot whatever way it has been set by the administrator instead of what the bios said, and I still got by that. Get over it, it isn't that hard.
liveboot with fedora/ubuntu use that I got around novell that way http://www.google.com/#hl=en&q=Surfcontrol+exploits&aq=&aqi=&aq=f&aqi=&oq=&fp=c807e9ccc08a197a or use those tricks
Oh shit OP is in the UK. I feel ashamed.
Again all of these boot linux solutions are useless if his school uses a proxy server like mine does.
www.schoolloops.info/loop is a proxy that worked for me
Add :8080 to the end of your link or Try using the IP address of the site, hell, even try using a different browser from the default school one. Our school uses smart filter and if you use Firefox it doesn't block you.
But I like Mozilla, why would I sue them? :buddy:
OP, use https:// instead of http:// on some sites.
If your school is anything like mine, you need to connect to a different proxy server, and then you should be able to do whatever you want. It's the schools proxy server that is blocking the websites, not some windows application.
I'm going to side with OP and say: What are you going to do when you finish your work, if your classes are anything like mine (probably not, UK=/= America) then they give you 5 minutes of work, and assume that it will take an hour. So that would be about 55 minutes of nothing getting done, with nothing to do besides the Internet. Just throwing that out there. Unless there IS school work to do, in which case, do it.
