You'll need to search "Windows 8" for it, but it's there:

Side note; I had trouble getting it to start the download though Chrome, you might want to try IE in order to use the download manager (but the site's probably getting hammered anyway)
MSDN won't load for me now :v:
Yeah, seems like the site is getting hammered. Goddamn it, I really wanted to install it today :v:
I noticed that the RTM build of Windows 8 still says "Release Preview" all throughout help and support (even while offline). What's the deal with that?
misread
Does anyone actually use Help and Support? :v:
Can someone post the Aero bug? Or is it fixed?
[editline]15th August 2012[/editline]
How do you all have MSDN accounts :O?
I only have a Dreamspark premium account, formerly known as MSDNAA. I finally got the site to load but it seems like it's not on Dreamspark yet, only MSDN and Technet.
I have yet to see it show up sadly.

I can confirm it not being present there yet. Took a while for it to load though.

What Aero bug?
Oh well, Windows 8 won't show up for students on Dreamspark until at least two weeks from now.
Someone posted steps to enable Aero some pages ago I think.
Apparently it wont be available on Dreamspark premium until august 25th, meh.
Now that it's officially out though, has it been confirmed that the leak is the actual RTM build? I think I'll just install that and activate it with a legit key later if possible.

Really? Where did you hear that?

Some Microsoft rep tweeted about it and also the comments in this blog:

That's how I found out about it anyway.

Working? Charm Bar?
Is windows8 currently viable as a full time OS as a windows7 replacement? Or should I wait until the actual release?
It is. Even the release preview works really well.
Would there be a way to update the release preview to retail once it comes out? seeing as how it releases in a few months I don't really want to have to format yet again when it does.
Working? Charm Bar?
Changing the key in the registry then killing DWM is much easier.
So does anyone have a working kms server ip? The one someone posted before doesn't seem to work anymore.
Here's some benches from Technology Spot: http://www.techspot.com/review/561-windows8-vs-windows7/
When I upgrade to Win8 (for real, when it releases), will I have to re-install all my old programs and data?
When I upgrade to Win8 (for real, when it releases), will I have to re-install all my old programs and data?
Depends. Which OS are you upgrading from?
Working? Charm Bar?
I wouldn't call it Aero. It's fucked up complete transparency.
I've finally taken the plunge.

Is there anyone here that are having trouble with the combination of windows 8 and Arma II? It doesn't like me changing my resolution or graphic settings at all. Crashes at any change.

I had that in borderlands. Turned out. that it couldn't write to config files (Permission error)

May be a stupid question, but what iso are you installing with? The RTM iso I used to install looked nothing like that during set up.

Thanks, messing around with the config file fixed it.
