Finding the drivers for my Toshiba laptop's touchpad took me 4 hours. Never again!
Took me like 30 seconds, what are you on about :v:
The ones labelled "Windows 8" on the Toshiba site (once you run them) crash with a message to the effect of "This Operating System Is Not Supported." (except, in broken Tawainglish)
apple comes in, makes the iFridge, patents handles on the doors of fridges, we're doomed.
4-pin code to unlock your fridge door slides open too [editline]24th November 2012[/editline] "iFridge: Your food has never been safer. Or cooler."
Well, almost done installing windows 8, about how long does it take to get used to?
About 5 minutes.
Is there any way to make each individual window on the desktop have a little box that pops up on the left instead of just the desktop itself?
Well, almost done installing windows 8, about how long does it take to get used to?
23 minutes, 8 seconds.
it took me a day to get used to it. About a week to discover any hidden features and other stuff they don't tell you.

Guessing you have ATI and enabled MLAA in Catalyst. [editline]24th November 2012[/editline] Just tried it myself and restarted explorer.exe and didn't get the effect, though.
I have MLAA on and i never had any probs with it in win8.

I was trying it out yesterday I feel like I'm only going to use the Metro-style apps that come with Windows; maps and weather and stuff. Everything else I'm gonna run on the desktop. It's just so ridiculously convoluted to run things in a useful fashion in within Metro
woah your real name is shaun i would have never guessed
now you know my name, you can add me on Google+ and see my non-existent posts
Well?
Let me sleep before you expect results! :v: Anyways. It worked. Thanks!

Had a play with a win8 laptop while I was in a shop today So let me get this right, the icons and "metro" thing is what opens when you hit the windows key, it replaces the start menu other than that it seemed like windows 7 basically, am I correct? (also I can't use windows 8 because I have no windows key on my IBM model M, hehe)
