Is there a reason why I keep getting a flickering blue screen whenever I install 3rd party av and firewall?
So I take it nobody else is getting this?
Right now I'm using Decor8, but it's a 30 day trial. As for the wallpaper (Thumbed because it's huge): [t]http://www.galawallpapers.net/photo/97955/bridge-023.jpg[/t]
I saved that wallpaper as "home.jpg". Those two pylons are literally a few minute's walk away from my aunt's apartment. I love NYC.
nah homegroup isn't even an option on there, first thing i tried wtf windows!
I had it show up before, it went away by it self.
nah homegroup isn't even an option on there, first thing i tried wtf windows!
Hit F5 on the desktop, happened to me more then 20 times and nothing fixes it. That's only a small part of why I had just now gotten fed up and reinstalled 7. 8 is broke in so many small ways they have all compounded to help in my decision. [editline]7th December 2012[/editline] Don't get me wrong here, it is great in a vast number of ways. It's really just about how you want your computer to be.

Windows always has problems on release, Microsoft can't do testing, but they'll fix them eventually
Oh wow, te windows youtube page. My eyes. http://www.youtube.com/microsoftwindows

If you upgrade from windows 8 pro to windows 8 pro and keep all files, settings, etc can you delete windows.old once its installed?
If you upgrade from windows 8 pro to windows 8 pro and keep all files, settings, etc can you delete windows.old once its installed?
You probably can't because Windows prevents it, but using disk cleanup you can when you've checked "Old Windows Installations".
Yea was thinking disk cleanup will check tommrow, thanks
I'm going to Thinstall Start8 myself. I'll be damned if I'm going to pay for a program that was once free. Fuck that shit. And I'm not distributing it, so don't ask. But I WILL be slipstreaming it to my Win 8 install DVD, so it auto-installs with Windows 8.
i can't seem to pin steam game shortcuts to the new start menu thing, is there a solution for this?
i can't seem to pin steam game shortcuts to the new start menu thing, is there a solution for this?
Yup, just move the shortcut into "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu"
I've found out that connecting a galaxy S plus to a Windows 8 Computer appears to be a pain in the ass. Probably on Samsungs part because their driver can't install properly.
i can't seem to pin steam game shortcuts to the new start menu thing, is there a solution for this?
There is an app for that. I think its called Steam2Start or something
Or just search for the steam game in start menu then press pin to start
So i finally got around to instaling on my desktop, and it has the Windows 8 Pro Build 9200 watermark in the bottom right corner. Using the same copy, it doesn't have this on my laptop
just checked, key has reached activation limit. But it had 5 uses, and i only used 2
Have you got both running the same activation key at the same time?
Have you got both running the same activation key at the same time?
i actually just saw this while googling. Well, shit
i actually just saw this while googling. Well, shit
There's a difference between five licenses and five activations.
Does anyone else have the problem that drag n' drop doesn't work with some programs? I can't do it in After Effects CS6 from the Explorer, it's quite annoying.
Does anyone else have the problem that drag n' drop doesn't work with some programs?
