The red colour always looks out of place.
Even if the wallpaper was blue aero mixed with metro looks weird, at least to me it does.
They should make the icons metro instead of them being based on the office/aero era
I've given up on the Win8 nvidia drivers. They're SO FUCKING BUGGY i couldn't play BF3 for longer than 10 minutes at a time before the drivers crashed. Specifically my display drivers. Makes my screen look like a rave party or a stuck pixel convention, then my display drivers fail and have to restart. Then when it's back in working order, the notification tool tip in the bottom right says "Your display drivers failed and i got them to work again!" Only when I close it, another shows up immediatly after 4 times in a row. This has led me to believe that my display drivers fail 5 times every time ESN Sonar goes nuts. Occasionally this spasm of 1's and 0's will actually cause my computer to reboot. All of the above could be paraphrased with: shit's broke.

I warned you about ESN Sonar bro I told you dog
How can I play USASfragfield 3 without ESN Sonar?
How can I play USASfragfield 3 without ESN Sonar?
Just right click the tray icon and quit? It doesn't even launch automatically for me when I open Battlelog, only when I click the microphone button Skype's better for voice chat anyway Seriously, the first time I've even heard of ESN Sonar is when you told me it crashes everything for you
hmm for some reason i can't install apps. Is that on purpose? it always goes like: Pending - Downloading - Couldn't install the app [t]http://goo.gl/S2TFO[/t] [editline]6th April 2012[/editline] [t]http://goo.gl/J2KRl[/t]
What happens if you click the Why didn't the app install link? Or does it just give you that useless dialog you posted under it?
yeah it just shows the dialog below it
Why didn't this app install? Something happened. Microsoft[sup]®[/sup] [editline]6th April 2012[/editline] Did you upgrade from 7 or is it fresh install? Also is the English 8 or another language?
fresh install on my 2nd hdd. Language is in english. idk why it doesn't work v:v:v [editline]6th April 2012[/editline] http://www.screenr.com/n1d8
Is there anything like adblock+ for IE10?
Well, I tried installing the windows 7 drivers, and it wasn't great. I had more bugs than with the 8 drivers, and also skyrim still lagged. Interestingly, I noticed that it was apparently using almost no gpu load. Not sure if it was just bugged drivers or something with skyrim.
Looks like they've updated the min/max/close buttons.

The flatness of the close button is less than that of the min and max/restore buttons, hopefully MS sees that as well and changes it. It does look better though. You don't really need all these glows and shines everywhere.

So any new bulids after their first customer preview?? bulid 8250
Contrary to popular belief, I think Aero looks great in Win 8 DP.
I hope they change how the glass now has a lighter tinge to it no matter what color it's set to. Solid black turns into grey. It's annoying.

It looks great by default, but you could achieve the same effect by using the different settings for the colorization than having the image be slightly lighter. I've found the problen why I couldn't install apps. I just turned on the windows firewall and now it works :v:
I've found the problen why I couldn't install apps. I just turned on the windows firewall and now it works :v:
So Windows Firewall can actually block something? Wow Windows 8 just keeps getting better! :v:
A firewall that blocks things when turned off..
So Windows Firewall can actually block something? Wow Windows 8 just keeps getting better! :v:
I never had issues with the firewall not blocking stuff actually. As long as I put the thing in via the advanced interface.
Only hipsters using CDs
CD's? Pfft. Cassettes man.
so MS has stopped with the Windows 8 news? sad
so MS has stopped with the Windows 8 news? sad
Yeah, it looks like all the news leaks from that Win8china site.
I never had issues with the firewall not blocking stuff actually. As long as I put the thing in via the advanced interface.
It's the default configuration of the Windows Firewall. You can't possibly not have had the problem.
I found Windows 8 to be buggy on my older laptop (running on older hardware) and some of the features didn't work to their fullest extent. However, the OS is in beta and this is expected. I recently switched to 7 just because I knew 8 was a beta and wouldn't be supported once the actual finished product rolled out, but my time with it was fun and I found the new UI pretty snazzy. I would totally update to it.
