Chinese bluetooth dongles are a pain the ass :(
I don't know about you guys but I really don't want to see the windows 8 logo to be the next logo for the whole windows computing sector Yes it was the logo in 1.0 but seriously, I would be happier with the 98 logo than that, has their been confirmations that this will be spread across because I can't see me getting used to it or anyone, the flag has been an icon for years now. [editline]24th April 2012[/editline] http://www.zdnet.com/blog/seo/5-reasons-i-dislike-the-new-windows-8-logo/4691 This is my thoughts really summed up by this article
Firefox has some bugs with the UI elements at the top of the screen (close minimize buttons.) It's all over the aero parts that have some sort of function for me. Gonna stick to Chrome. [editline]23rd April 2012[/editline] Like I have since 2008.

I'm going to college soon, but I want Windows 8. Is there some advantage to waiting for a legit win8 laptop to come out (hopefully in october), or should I buy a win7 and just upgrade it later? My college starts late August.
Hehe. Finally got around to photoshopping this.

Many universities have programs that allow you to buy discounted copies anyhow.
Windows 8 is useless for laptops. Just get a Windows 7.
I'd say the complete other way around.
For the last fucking time Windows 95 was a good OS, it laid down the foundations of the next generations with the startbutton and taskbar. Without it we'd probably get it later/still have a shitter version of Windows 3.1 program manager.
I honestly can't imagine people who would disagree that Windows 95 was a great os
It didn't have USB support!!!!
It didn't have USB support!!!!
Incorrect As basic as it was, Windows 95 did feature USB support
Incorrect As basic as it was, Windows 95 did feature USB support
Well, yes, but only as of a 1997 service pack.
Well, yes, but only as of a 1997 service pack.
Yes but that doesn't mean that it didn't have USB support at all
Well, yes, but only as of a 1997 service pack.
Because you know, USB totally existed when 95 was in development.

I've tried w8 on my windows tablet. I totally don't like it. It works good though running on a tablet, but mweh. The screen reso wasn't supported (1024x600) thus most of the Metro apps wouldnt work. Which absolutely sucks donkey dick, haha. So I had to use the registry to enable upscaling, which worked. But it then looked like shit. :( Besides that, imo, it was rather buggy. Edit: Also, yeah, I agree. Go for w7 on a laptop.
I put Windows 8 on my old PC. I've gotta say, I really love it. That is, until it bugged out and now won't boot properly. But, heck, it's not actually released yet.
What am I looking at?
He photoshopped all of the tiles to be blue.
That's fucking weird. It's magically started working again. A minute ago, it was telling me that it couldn't find System 32. Ah well, at least it's working.
What am I looking at?
Windows 8 done in a Windows Phone 7 style
Windows 95B and 95C had USB support. 95A did not. Even so, mass-storage drivers weren't even built into Windows until ME and 2000.
If anything we should be praising Windows 95 for its innovation back then which lead to windows remaining to use the taskbar and startbutton, even though both these things went through heavy modification it is still good.
I installed it, and I liked how everything just worked. I'll be buying this.

Sorry, but it looks fairly horrible.
