Hey guys, how customizable is a jailbroken iDevice?
Very customisable.
You can change and redesign the whole UI

hmmm, interesting.
This may be worth considering. The iPhone 5 can turn any man.
Hey guys, how customizable is a jailbroken iDevice?
It's nearly as customizable as an Android device. I remember having a Pip-boy theme on my iTouch and it was tuff.
Yeah I totally told you to throw your phone because mine had a bad battery life.
Anyway, the Nexus S has a shit battery life, especially by today's standards.
You're extrapolating from what I said and making it all up, calm down. I don't know why you get so aggressive. Do some boxing or something.
EDIT: Lmao, sorry for pointing out the obvious and making you annoyed again

Shush.
Has iOS 6 affected battery life for anyone? My iPad 2 seems to last slightly less. Considering downgrading and jailbreaking. Unless it's all in my head...
My iPad lasts longer
My iPad wish it could have iOS 6.
My iPad wish it could have iOS 6.
With 256MB of RAM, trust me, it doesn't want iOS 6.
MS-DOS would run pretty well...
But what about Amiga OS?
I don't think Workbench is very touch screen friendly.
And MS-DOS is!?
Bigger = Better!
Well shit. Apparently Apple completely closed off downgrading from iOS6 to iOS5.1.1. Even if you have SHSH blobs saved.
Fucking pricks.

This feature is really handy cause I hate always opening Facebook all the time to upload pictures or even update my status

Will it work with other apps you install like in Android, for example Pocket or Springpad?
Will it work with other apps you install like in Android, for example Pocket or Springpad?
Yeah, it worked way before iOS 6 because apps (say instagram) would have a share function where it'd open up facebook to confirm you and then you'd be posting via the app.
It's just that apple has completely put facebook and twitter throughout the OS which means its easier to share stuff than ever

I just want the new javascript engine :'(
Made my iPhone 4S feel like an iPhone 4SS!

Won't Nitrous from Cydia let you have it?

My iPad with iOS 5 takes 10 seconds to open the settings app.
My iPad with iOS5 take...
Oh wait. I sold it.
I wonder how terrible my iPod touch 4 would run IOS6.
Would it be any better than 5.01?
my iPod touch 2g still has 4.2.1 or something

Mines runs pretty much the same as with 5.01.
I think this thread should just be named "Apple general discussion"
I think this thread should just be named "iDevice general discussion"
Makes more sense. OSX can have it's own thread as Windows 8 and WP8 has their own threads.
Maybe we should create an 'Apple general chat and small questions' thread.
Because if we have 2 threads, both would be very inactive.

I don't think individual threads would have enough activity and would fall behind, if we just have a general apple thread, it would work, Thats just my thoughts though, could be wrong

Oh, kauk said the same thing
So I am jailbroken on iOS 5.1 or something, I lost my restore after I re-installed my PC.
Can I get rid of my jailbreak just by updating to iOS 6?

Yup. And all Cydia apps and tweaks, as well as Installous apps won't function afterward, even if it still shows some apps installed.
