Mionix Naos 3200. It basically has all the features of a 518 with a really really comfy case. Also, it looks nicer. [img_thumb]http://www.mionix.net/datas/users/naos_3200_3_0_0.png[/img_thumb]
Except it doesn't have as good of a sensor.
Mx518 errday Best 20 quid I have spent in a long time.
Except it doesn't have as good of a sensor.
It has higher DPI if you're into that sort of thing. I don't know the other details of the sensor.
My Deathadder has been going strong for 2 years, my G5 on the other hand died in a year.
My Deathadder has been going strong for 2 years, my G5 on the other hand died in a year.
I really don't understand how this happens. I haven't had anything die on me, ever. My three year old motherboard has been in my brother's computer for about 8 months now and it's still going strong, my OCZ keyboard I gave him that's three years old also is still going strong, the monitor I gave him, the mouse I gave him, all of it is still working perfectly fine after three years. [editline]13th February 2011[/editline] A lot of you must just treat your hardware like shit.
you're just lucky
No I feel the same as Odellus I have had a whole Core 2 setup along with peripherals that I built in 2006 last to this day without one problem and now it rests peacefully as a HTPC.

Only now is it starting to fail (northbridge fan). I know of many people with my hardware who have had it fail after a few months. One day you'll buy a hard drive, put your shit on it and watch it fail straight away. It's all luck. It will eventually happen to you.

I didn't drop it or anything. So I went and got a G500. :v: I'd prefer a G5 over it though, the little part of the forward button that goes out is annoying. Can't really find G5s anymore though.
My Deathadder has been going strong for 2 years, my G5 on the other hand died in a year.

The Deathadder is perfectly fine, for awhile at least. I've had mine for about 2 years or so and the mousewheel and side buttons are starting to stick and become unresponsive.
Agreed. Ive had the deathadder for two years now and have been more than pleased. It feels nice, it moves nice, its had awesome response time. I have noticed over the past month a reduced feedback from the middle mouse and side buttons, but it is not a complaint since ive had it for so long. I plan on buying a new one before next quakecon. On another note, there are mainly 3-4 mice being argued over, and no one is convincing anyone else, so to each is fucking own. You buy what you think feels nice.
