You sure that the pavement was not made of velvet covered pillows
Nope, I know the hill he dropped it on. It's like a 30-35 degree incline too.
Dorkslayz why don't you just get a contract? The Dolphin 31 plan is only 31 pounds a month w/ a free Samsung Galaxy S2. Pretty sure it's cheaper in the long run. I mean, if the PAYG price is 400 pounds, 31 pounds at 24 months is 744 pounds throughout the term.

well i have no idea how much costs he would incur with the PAYG rates I just figure a contract means no initial financial hurdle, and easier to plan around

Contracts tie you to the company for a couple years, but it's so much cheaper.
Plus, you get a fucking amazing Android phone with that.
Im not really a big phone hype and I will only use it when im out and about and being "social". The only think ill be using it for is probably browsing facebook and being social (BBM is a plus) which is why I would prefer it to a Android phone because I doubt ill use it for gaming. And it has a nice battery life. oh and I wrote a shitty CV which took me about 3 hours. http://dorkslayz.pro/dl/CV%20%5bDraft%5d.pdf Can I get some constructive criticism?
seriously guys wtf is BBM and what does it do over any other SMS app
seriously guys wtf is BBM and what does it do over any other SMS app
BlackBerry Messenger It has had really good uptimes.
seriously guys wtf is BBM and what does it do over any other SMS app
Free messaging to other Blackberry owners. AKA a whole .01% of your circle of friends. It's like iMessage, only not useful and not to computers, tablets, and PMP.
seriously guys wtf is BBM

any other SMS app
except with better security and free to other blackberries or something
Don't forget that RIM keep every single message sent over BBM, like Google does with all SMS's sent through Android phones.
And Apple with iMessages. So basically, fuck your privacy.
Online privacy is virtually impossible.
Well, Google are at least being honest about it. Most other companies don't even tell you they do it.
Wondering if I should sell my two 580's before the price drop and get one or two 680's.
I thought the same about my 570, then realized when i sell it i won't be able to play games.
I'll wait until the Kepler vs Fermi benchmarks come out.
guys, what are your opinion on BIOSTAR motherboards
guys, what are your opinion on BIOSTAR motherboards
my dad swears by them because he's never had one fail on him i think if you're on a budget they're good
guys, what are your opinion on BIOSTAR motherboards
They're not bad. I used a couple for test boards.
Biostar wasn't all that great a few years ago but from what I hear they're getting a lot better, they make good budget boards. [editline]14th March 2012[/editline] Also, apparently Anandtech broke their NDA by releasing an IB preview the other week. Other places who posted previews pulled them already but they haven't. Weird.
my dad swears by them because he's never had one fail on him i think if you're on a budget they're good
i was on a tight budget when i did my first DIY system and had gotten an BIOSTAR A770E3, and i've had this build for over a year now i have no intention of pushing it in any shape or form and it still works just fine for me what motherboard brands should i avoid though, i'm guessing i should generally just steer away from no-name, Chinese brands i've gotten a mATX Zotac motherboard for my dad and its been working greatly for him, and the same motherboard that i'm using for my mom
Jetway and FOXCONN
I would say ECS but their boards are really just hit and miss. The board I owned was fine but I've heard a lot of mixed reviews of their other boards. I have yet to come to a conclusion if I would recommend them or not.
So, in my web design 2 class we have this colorblind guy. He made a pretty nice looking site on cats for his midterm, all the colors worked right with eachother, and no blue to be found. Student: I'm hoping I did the colors right because I'm colorblind.. this is just what looked nice to me. Teacher: Oh, I didn't know that. Anyways, you would think that a blue background won't work well for this occasion but it actually works pretty well actually. Student: Yeah.. WAIT WHAT. I love my teacher.
I've had a lot of ASUS boards fail on me, but I'd put that on bad luck. (oh and the fact my ASUS graphics card died after two years for no reason and the ASUS monitor I have has a dead pixel) Generally, I keep to the Top Sellers category in Newegg. That narrows it down to the boards that you can rely on - you can find out which brands are bad by looking at ratings too.
Jetway and FOXCONN
are awful?
are awful?
He asked what brands to avoid. [sub]I want bad reading back[/sub]
i was on a tight budget when i did my first DIY system and had gotten an BIOSTAR A770E3, and i've had this build for over a year now i have no intention of pushing it in any shape or form and it still works just fine for me what motherboard brands should i avoid though, i'm guessing i should generally just steer away from no-name, Chinese brands i've gotten a mATX Zotac motherboard for my dad and its been working greatly for him, and the same motherboard that i'm using for my mom

He asked what brands to avoid.
that was well hidden, crap
The foxconn boards i've had were actually not that bad ECS though...
Is Jetway even around anymore?
