"Experiance" in Windows Experience area.
"Distobutions" in Linux Experience area. (This may be me being CI, no Linux experience)
"month’s" instead of "months" in Previous Experience. (Possessive)
"project’s" instead of "projects" below Web Based Systems in Previous Experience. (Possessive) Edit: Thinking about this couldn't it technically be correct because they are your projects? Unsure on this.
This wasn't supposed to come off as mean, just a few things I noticed.
Edit: FalconKrunch is right, it's under "Special Skills+Technical Knowledge" in the "Providing Tech Support" row, he may have edited his post to include this by now, not sure why someone rated him late (Which has now been changed to disagree, MC3). Aha, thanks for clearing that up MC3, I understand now. Recourses is "A source of help in a difficult situation". Resources is "A stock or supply of money, materials, staff, and other assets that can be drawn on by a person or organization in order to function effectively" curious as to why my English teacher has never corrected me on this before.
Edit: "distrubutions" in Linux Experience also.
Linux and Windows aren't consistently capitalised throughout, especially in the "Special Skills" area

Correct, lots of unneeded apostrophes. Also inconsistent capitalization of the last parts titles.
Well, everything depends if there's a class in the computer lab I'm in.

Recourses is a word
It means a source of help
Anyone know how to fix my fucking battlefield 3?
You saved 10 dollars, and spent like 5 times that in time trying to get it fixed.
Cut your losses.

Just thought of something - maybe the laptop model I wanted was discontinued because it's about to be replaced with an Ivy Bridge version?
About how long does it take after a new processor comes out for new laptops to come out based on it?

[del]Intel says the mobile chips are on hold until June or July iirc.[/del]
Scratch that, only the dual core mobile chips, if its quad you should be fine.
The new report claims that desktop processors are still on schedule and “only the dual-core [mobile] models have been pushed back.” The reason behind the the delay is said to be tied to the massive stock of Sandy Bridge CPUs Intel still has on hand
Sometimes they come out around the same time, couple of days.
Good job Microsoft, I had to actually google how to close a Metro app because, who could've though about our beloved rarely-used Windows key, instead of allowing Esc to go back and close apps just like Android. Windows 8 isn't even consistent, you can't even slide through your homescreen with a mouse (You'd expect a mouse to work the same as a touchscreen for a touchscreen-oriented UI)
I'm not even going to consider installing Windows 8 unless there is a way to disable Metro and have all Metro apps run in a window, not fullscreen.
And who the hell was the idiot that decided to put the shutdown/restart buttons in settings?

I really think that that video Chris Pirillo put up of his father trying to figure out how to get back to his tiles for like 4 minutes showed exactly what is wrong with Windows 8. They throw you into this entirely new system with a new UI and don't even give you too much of a walkthrough. It's bullshit.

You should get a more professional looking email address such as Firstname.Lastname@me.com
Don't put you're age on a CV
The star system on "SPECIAL SKILLS + TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE" section is a bad idea if you remove that you are just listing a skill set that you have instead of telling them your weaker points.
Ah fuck, there's a class here soon. SPANISH IT IS.

I have never seen either card go above 70, usually they hit around 60~65ish but with 70 being the maximum.
I need to dust them out and reapply some thermal paste I guess.

Yeah, I just read that on Wikipedia too.
And hey, maybe I'll catch a break and it'll be a 660M instead of a 560M as well.
Why must you torture me with pictures of your game working?

You can snap apps to the edges, so they fill a ~1/3 of the screen. Very useful on my laptop, as it's resolution isn't very big, and it's cmbersome to resize and manage windows without being able to use "snap". You don't close Metro apps. They close themselves when you need RAM. I only use Windows 8 with a touchpad, but it's very enjoyable in my experience, especially since I arranged them in groups. You can put your cursor out to one side and in that way slide through the start screen. I wouldn't recommend it over scrolling, though.

It's a consumer preview. While they may not change the UI, Microsoft might put a small walkthrough in there - I don't know. While it's true that it's not entirely logical (I myself had no problems with adapting), his father seemed to be more confused with computers than most people. He was apparently still running XP, as well. Look at the Mac OSX stuff, it isn't much better.

Because I didn't by it from site that sells keys?

Seeing at there are previews/reviews of an Acer ultrabook equipped with a 640M I would bet it's safe to assume the 660M is around the corner.

i'm trying to help but you just overlooked my question
[editline]14th March 2012[/editline]
I'm guessing you didn't do the registry right
browse to:
32 bit PC:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE|SOFTWARE|Electronic Arts|Battlefield 3]*
64 bit PC:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE|SOFTWARE|Wow6432Node|Electronic Arts|Battlefield 3]*
Just replace the highlighted fields:

English: GDFBinary_en_US.dll

What happens when you load the game? If it's just in russian you didn't edit the registry correctly, if you're getting an unlimited loading screen you did the registry edit and didn't do the files right.
all right. i tried to edit the registry with the .reg file, the "language switcher" program, as well as manual. The thing is

I don't have the GDFBinary thing for me to change the value of, and the others are already set to en_us
Also:
Since I graduate in a few weeks, I'm going to start bringing stacks of blank CDs to school so I burn copies of all the shit we get via MSDNAA. I checked today, there's some pretty neat shit:
Windows 8, with debug symbols
Windows 7/Vista/XP/2000
Windows Server 2003/2008/2008R2/8
MS-DOS 6.22
Office (full, with absolutely everything)
Like 20 versions and addons for Visual Studio (Kinect SDK? XNA? Hell yes)
And probably a bunch more shit.
Anything in particular anybody wants me to look for?
Good job Microsoft, I had to actually google how to close a Metro app because, who could've though about our beloved rarely-used Windows key, instead of allowing Esc to go back and close apps just like Android. You can close a metro app by clicking and dragging the top of the app downwards or using Alt-F4. Windows key keeps it open until another application needs the RAM. As for the "you can't even slide through your homescreen with a mouse", are you talking about the "Start" menu? I can just move the cursor to the edge of the screen and it moves.
I would use Metro on a device that has a trackpad or a touchscreen. I will never use it on a desktop. It just doesn't seem right.
