I can already tell I'm going to hate windows 8...
all right. i tried to edit the registry with the .reg file, the "language switcher" program, as well as manual. The thing is I don't have the GDFBinary thing for me to change the value of, and the others are already set to en_us
is this 64 or 32 bit because there's the two different locations depending on which
Also: Since I graduate in a few weeks, I'm going to start bringing stacks of blank CDs to school so I burn copies of all the shit we get via MSDNAA. I checked today, there's some pretty neat shit: Windows 8, with debug symbols Windows 7/Vista/XP/2000 Windows Server 2003/2008/2008R2/8 MS-DOS 6.22 Office (full, with absolutely everything) Like 20 versions and addons for Visual Studio (Kinect SDK? XNA? Hell yes) And probably a bunch more shit. Anything in particular anybody wants me to look for?
Yum MSDN. I remember back in the day my dad would get me copies from his school of MSDN quarterly disks. They were really interesting. We even got Windows Vista Beta's, Office 2007 VLK keys, and various stuff.
is this 64 or 32 bit because there's the two different locations depending on which
32 bit. I'm in the right place, I think
Russian. Russian everywhere. I can't even change the visuals to a stable level because I don't know what the fuck I'm doing
so are you sure you're not running 64bit [editline]14th March 2012[/editline] meanwhile, in mumble
How would I change that back or even run 64 in the first place?
meanwhile, in mumble
Oh my.
*installing a dell poweredge 15005c* Hmm, I think A380 should be a fitting name.

Since I got paid from Youtube, I guess I'll spend some of it on this new headphone DAC/AMP thingy. Comes to 224 though. Bit pricey :p
Speaking of youtube, do you get money from likes? Subscriptions? Unless there's something I'm missing, that is.
your windows version
It's 32 bit man
so are you sure you're not running 64bit [editline]14th March 2012[/editline] meanwhile, in mumble
What the I am glad I missed that
yay, I blessed my phone with ICS. It's way fucking better than HTC Sense. [editline]14th March 2012[/editline] though the wallpapers were pretty
I love ICS.

You can spend money on ads about your video on other peoples videos IIrc You can loose money if google thinks you try to trick them and close your account
Alright, got those parts today. Got the mobo. Monitors looking sexy, although it's smaller than I thought it was. That's all good though. Got some non-ricer Apevia fans too and they are nice and quiet. Now I got two final questions. First question. What does it mean when you let your computer run for a minute and at the Windows screen, the screen suddenly turns from normal to a quick flash of a small square in the center, surrounded by black, then flashes back to normal again? Last question. How do you remove and reapply thermal paste? I hear you use isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth for the removal, and a ziploc bag and your finger for the reapplying. What would a lint-free cloth be? What techniques do I use to take off and put on the paste?

Second question: I use a coffee filter and lighter fluid. You don't need to spread thermal paste, just put a rice sized bit in the middle.
Speaking of youtube, do you get money from likes? Subscriptions? Can you lose money?
I, personally, do not. My partnership with Machinima is a flat rate based on views. A normal partner can get monthly bonus and subscriber bonuses via youtube though. Likes and favourites come into play where either A) the person who liked and favourited it has sharing on their account enabled and the video then is shared to their tumblr, twitter, facebook, etc automatically and their followers or friends see it, view it, like favourite, etc. B) their rating ends up boosting its ranking for the day or week on youtubes listings and people who have no idea who the fuck to watch see the video on the front page or on their trending charts and BOOOOOOMMMM thousands upon thousands of hits and views. Big money. My Interstate v3 was on the top gaming spot for like a week.
First question: It's just the splash screen, don't worry.
I was talking about the Windows log-in screen.
I make about 20-25% of what I make at my normal job. Enough to buy a GTX 570 per month. The contract actually just covers the rate they pay us, not actually the amount we physically get paid... I don't think. And because of this, I try to really focus on videos that have a long term value like reviews and LP's since LP's are relevant for years generally. And the larger my video base, the more cross pollenation my videos produce on their own, bringing up my base line income. AKA I make money with less effort.
I was talking about the Windows log-in screen.
Can you elaborate? In any case, it's most likely nothing.

I recently tried to get a partnership with MonstercatGaming but they turned me down. Also, whats your username?
Can you elaborate? In any case, it's most likely nothing.
My worst worries are that it could be CPU damage after I had the computer running for an hour after removing and putting back on the heatsink. Or that it's GPU damage from where I improperly took it out and damaged the old mobo.
