. . No?
I do that. Some games don't allow it however.
Fairly sure that you can force VSync in Nvidias drivers. Not sure about ATI.

Its one of these, and you can't plug the modem in without it.
I'm guessing, though some DSL filters have two jacks: one for a regular phone and one for the DSL modem.
Found porn image on Facebook.
Went to report it.
Hit share.
Life ruined.
At least you guys don't have to put up with the mentally deficient chimps at Plusnet. I still don't get why my family insists we use them.
Actually, I do.
Opinion on cable management please. I spent about a hour or so trying to make it look neat and clean.

Sorry for the bad lighting. Too dark with windows closed and too bright with them open.
So my networking (vocational school) class got some cisco routers and switches to play with
None of the boxes seem to contain a fucking rj-45 to db-9 adapter for the console ports nor a usb adapter for it so we can't configure them. annoyance.
You have to buy those separately.

you'd think the school would've bought some then. bah.
Our teacher was talking something about our school giving students iPads... after I'm graduated.
The GTX 680 is in TTL's new subscriber video.
For some reason he has it covered up even though the NDA has been lifted afaik.
My brother's computer had some sort of browser hijack from browsing stupid shit with firefox for the third time.
Plain kind that just makes your computer look horribly fucked but it's just hiding things you can hide via menus. It didn't hide the start menu search bar, mbam.exe and done :v:

Oh, nice!
Thanks for that little bit of info. :v:
I'm with BT, it really isn't much better.
Still, we could be with Talk Talk...
:argh:
60+? You got a 120Hz display?
mine does 85-120 depending on the resolution. 60 if I run out of spec (which I only do for normal usage. my regular desktop resolution is a bit absurd for games) feels pretty good
I bet if i threw some live grenades in their server room i would get better speeds
MERGE
I'm giving up waiting to buy a new gaming PC, my latest experiences with Battlefield 3 were so frustrating I don't want to play it never again. I'm getting a laptop.
...although my current PC couldn't probably run games like Borderlands 2 or other games well.

That's the release date from what I've heard.

I've only just finished dealing with an annoying search redirecting piece of shit
every AV scan found nothing, after a few days of looking I found a hidden 1MB partition
I don't understand how family members can get this stuff when they use nothing but facebook

then the NDA lifts on the release date, no paper launch
oops
i guess that partition did contain bootmgr.

Just put my windows 7 disk in and run 'bootrec /fixboot', right?

Jesus christ I didn't realize how big that resolution would be...
I'm trying to find out if disabling hyperthreading will void warranty. Haven't found anything so far. I hear it fixes the stuttering in BF3, although since I have a dual-core, it may drop my FPS down.
What CPU do you have?

This place has been invaluable to me. I wouldn't know what I know about computers without the help of the people who post here.
How about this. If you guys want me to stop asking questions all the time, rate an agree. I don't want to infuriate anybody on here.
