It's still a very slow, boring start (I'm the Hero of motherfucking Time, not a goat herder, dammit!), but it only took me an hour and a half to get to the first dungeon. I think the general fandom is being too harsh on the game. I remember when Windwaker had the same negative reputation, but that's now considered one of the best games in the series.
