So it's finally come time for me to get a new cell phone. I currently have, and am quite content with a cheap crappy thing that makes phone calls and text messages and some other things but not very well that I got several years ago. I wouldn't be upgrading normally because I have no interest in spending huge money on a smartphone that has features I neither need nor am particularly interested in but my parents are paying for it since they're upgrading as well and I've never been one to turn down free stuff. Anyways, since I haven't been interested in smartphones means I'm so out of the loop in the phone market it's not even funny and I have a few questions. 1. Is android 4.0 worth it? How does it compare to 2.3? Is it a clear upgrade or an offshoot that brings more problems than benefits? 2. Windows phone vs android, I haven't kept up with mobile OS's at all so I am clueless here. 3. Not quite sure which models I can pick from yet or what price range they will be in but looking at newest releases it seems pretty simple: HTC one X/S/V vs Xperia S/P/U VS one of the new samsung galaxies released this year. Is this a reasonable selection? Also which Galaxy? Thanks in advance.

It sounded so freaking shit I can't even describe it. Sounded like he was fucking underwater. Also, two weeks later the computer died.
