I would like to wait for Windows 8 to come out so Windows 7 would lower in price but I'm too impatient for that.

They're going to stop selling W7 after 8 comes out.

If they do, then piracy is completely justified.

Wait, a company that stops selling their old product to make way for their new one? This is an OUTRAGE!
Side note: I hate these people.

I doubt it, the nearest you could get is something like TeamViewer.

Does anyone else feel like this about W8 too?
What I thought after using it for a few hours in a VM with crappy video driver support:

After installing it on my laptop (1.6 GHz Athlon Neo, Radeon HD 3200, 2 GB RAM) and using it yesterday and today, I'm beginning to like it.
The problem is that it's very different from what you're used to, so you get frustrated trying to do stuff you normally do. Once you get over that initial learning curve, it's almost fun to use.
However, the people who freak out over a slight UI change in Facebook will likely catch fire upon booting up a new Windows 8 computer. People like my mother have just began to get the hang of XP, I showed her Windows 8 and her response was "How the heck do you get anything done?". Those people would be annoyed with Windows 7, though could likely figure it out since most things are in the same spot. However, Windows 8 completely shits on that, since a lot of things aren't even close to the normal spot.
Im going to download it now and see what it's like.
It does look quite nice.
Edit - Fuck that, its 2.5GB and it'll take me like an hour to download.

Yea, actually, it is because I have to spend more money.

You don't have to buy another operating system just because its new.

What I'm saying is that they won't lower the price either so you always have to pay top-dollar. Especially for those of us who just acquired new computers and need operating systems for all of them. You should've thought of that.

You don't need to install Windows 8.
You should've thought of that.

Technically, no one necessarily "buys" illegal copies

Then buy Windows 7.
It's not quite that hard.

Was thinking of old eBay XP disks when I said that.
How?
If they wont sell it to you then there is no harm done at all.

I have no problem with change, so long as its for the better.
Mailman being harassed
Officers were dispatched to a harassment call where a mailman was reporting that a resident on his route had blown him a kiss. He said in 2009 he had been delivering mail to this address and stated he needed a signature. He always asked residents to put their dogs inside or away from him because sometimes they are unfriendly. They got very angry when the mailman asked them to do this. Since then the relationship with their mail carrier has gone awry. They will try to step in front of his vehicle and block him from trying to leave. The suspect is described as an unknown gender wearing a wig and mascara. When he was delivering mail in a nearby cul-de-sac the male/female suspect had a shop-vac and was on the side of the street. When he drove by, the suspect pointed the hose at him. It ejected dust and pebbles at the mailman and hit him in the face. The male/female suspect yelled obscenities at him. Again while he was delivering mail in this area, the suspect came out and blew him a kiss and then waved at him. He said it was not friendly and it was creepy. The mailman wanted this to be documented in case there are any other problems in the future.
