I'm not allowed to have soda anymore, yay for living with my parents, so I hide two cans in my 5.25" bays.

Now that I said that I'm afraid one day they'll explode.
Time for a new hiding spot.
not particularly concerned about explosions but they used to get hot as piss before I adjusted the fans accordingly

Better keep that Tabasco sauce hidden don't want the boss to see it or risk losing job
I keep a bottle of tabasco at work and my boss keeps using it
I keep a bottle of semen at school and the teacher keeps using it.
Wait- uhm.
I'm feeling generous tonight.
Killowatt is getting a HAF 912, a Q6600, an Asus SUS P5Q3 Deluxe, a free 750 watt power supply Antec sent me a while back, and a random but decent LGA 775 cooler.
And 6gb DDR3 1333mhz RAM if he's lucky.
I am making a song, for Makol.
I am going to program something, for Makol.
I am going to draw something, for Makol.
I am going to, love Makol.
Also, Shadaez, I am almost done doing the gift in return for the 9800 GT.
I love you all so fucking much.
WOW

why is blu-ray already being replaced? it's only been around like 6 years. VHS had a good 25

Hey, it might not be replaced by HVD's. The main thing about HVDs is their massive capacity, like terrabyte size. Sony's fighting back though, promising terrabyte blu-rays. Pretty awesome since we benefit the most.
terabyte blu-rays aren't gonna happen though
terabyte blu-rays aren't gonna happen though
I don't care if they do or not, if they don't HVD's will take over and we'll get it anyway. Either way, we benefit.
we'll have to see how much it costs
we'll have to see how much it costs
Supposedly $100 to $300 per disc but apparent hopes to drop. You gotta remember though, multiple terrabytes on one disc. The price per Gb would be awesome.
speaking of storage costs when are fucking hard drive prices going to go down my spinpoint has gotten dangerously close to full a dozen times in the past few months

At this rate, never.

Also, wasn't there an article a little while back that said hard drive prices were projected to drop as much as 20-30% by August?

I don't want to insult wingless <3.
I just realised how much bad luck I have with laptops.
My first one was stolen within 2 months of me having it.
My second one's SSD failed.
My third one's screen broke, and still is broken.
And my fourth one can't keep its self from fucking up the OS before the second boot.
Also, I'm looking forward to my trip to and down Niagara Falls.
So I'm in school sitting in the last year computer science guys classroom charging my laptop while waiting for my own classes to start. I gotta say I'm not looking forward to when I'll be in here after the summer. The last years classes are network orientated to about the depth of learning what a dns is, then they spend months fiddling with Windows server 2008. I asked once why there's no linux anywhere in this classroom, the students didn't know what the hell a lunix was and the teacher looked at me like I was crazy.

Microsoft is offering some good things to the table and now they're seeing how good it is to keep up with web standards instead of releasing a browser that is clunky, unreliable and needs special optimization just to render a single page.
I should have given a bit of context, that case actually belongs to the boss.
I defragged one of my partitons last night, 0 bytes of frag left, ran the benchmark drive thing.

Now lets compare to my mostly defragged C: partition.

Yep. I'm happy with that.
The moment when you're finally uncapped = glorious!
The moment when you're never capped at all = glorious!

i don't know if that means bandwidth caps or you took off your hat or what but FUCK YEAH man
I'm uncapped too, but stuck on a crappy 5Mbit connection.
