An AT102W is a good board. Though mechanicals are mainly down to preference between the switch types. The AT102W uses White? ALPS by the way (iirc).
My knowledge of Keyboard mechanisims and switchtypes is nonexistant, but yeah, it is ALPs, and is white

Looks like someone wants to play Battlefield 3 at work.
I'm fucking shaking. I want to make sure my Boss knows what the hell he's ordering. I fear my superviser (I sort of have two bosses, both tell me what to do, but the guy in this ticket is the one who counts) may think he's hardware savvy, but he's really just a network admin. He talks about having this mindblowing computer with 6GB ram and a i7 920 and a 460 or something for his civilization 5 hobby. neat, doesn't count. Edit: We're a business that run servers, we're not a company that does renders or anything like that. My boss edited in to the ticket something like, "This is used for burning images." I hope that it's something like general number crunching and they just get them a standard server with some xeons.
holy mother of fuck god damn that 30 minute meeting turned into an hour and a half :v:

That's a lot of money. Plus it's iBuyPower.. Why are they looking at a site that sells gaming computers? [editline]19th March 2012[/editline] I also like that they selected BF3 in the free stuff. Wouldn't that seem suspicious?
It's a lot of money for something that A) Aint probably needed B) from a gaming computer company.

A 3960x and a 6750 wut.
Mother of god... $4300 for a work computer? how the fuck would he get away with that?
Welp seeing as I'm fairly certain my motherboard is the cause of my freeze issue when I run anything intensive (seeing as I can do CPU-only prime95 tests perfectly fine [only the ones that test memory and everything too cause freezing], and my PSU should be fine, etc), I went ahead and ordered a new motherboard Also an i5 2500k to go with it, since I figure there's no point in spending $130 in a new motherboard when I am running on a 775 socket, might as well go with the latest. Shame I had to spend $400 total, pracically a new PC. Ah well, this'll extend the life of my PC as a whole for the next few years at least.
Yeah I would talk to the boss directly to let him know that the computer that this person wanted is something that the company does not need. Then I would give the person that submitted that an ear full.

Posting from my Xoom that I got for free!
are you sure it wasnt your ram? as you said, it only did it when you ran memory tests.
Even if it was my RAM, which I'm pretty sure is fine and memtest86+ itself was having issues doing tests without freezing (if it was bad RAM I can't imagine why it wouldn't just flag it as bad RAM, like it is designed to do), it'd still require paying almost $80 for DDR2 RAM, seeing as they aren't really made anymore. And my computer can use/recognize my RAM just fine, it's only under load does the whole PC freeze up. I could have stretched out my PC playing the newest games on high/max for about another 1 or so year before I'd be forced to upgrade, but I might as well just go now. Apparently the 2500k is almost double the performance of my current processor anyways. No point in just swapping out expensive memory/motherboards on a chipset that is already dead and when I was planning on upgrading within the next 1-2 years anyways
Mother of god... $4300 for a work computer? how the fuck would he get away with that?
I don't know and I hope he doesn't. For a video project I got blown off for 37 dollars of CFL bulbs. Fuck off.

It looks like someone went through the customizer and picked the most expensive option for everything. A single, 480GB SSD... and *two* BD drives? Does not fucking compute.

Dearest Altern, I will not do your Algebra homework. Hush. Sincerely, Michael Waller
I will

[t]http://puu.sh/lwIo[/t] not bad temps for my room which is always hotter than the rest of the house, especially since it's been close to 80F erryday for a week, in march, in minnesota. yup. edit: HWM is retarded with voltages, cpu vcore is right though
Posting from my Xoom that I got for free!
How did you get it?
Sorry guys I'm just an angry person right now [editline]19th March 2012[/editline]
minnesota
I'm so sorry for your loss
Are there any benchmarks going out soon about the 680GTX and if there is going to be a 685GTX?
How did you get it?
A friend of mine owns a computer shop and the policy is if the device if left at the shop for over 120 days. They get to keep it as payment for the work. The screen was busted so I asked him if I could try and get it to work and I ended just sending it in to Motorola and they sent me a brand new one. Only spent $23 on a dock for it. BUT IT HAS NO FUCKING GOOD APPS FOR TABLETS!
