How hard is the A+ exam? I assume you've taken it. I'm afraid to just go and do it because it costs quite a bit.
It's pretty easy, I managed to get 95 % on it. All you need is logic and reading the info you are given
http://www.inet.se/kundvagn/visa/1611746/htpc-maxmod Is this a good HTPC build? The site is in swedish but I cba to look them up on newegg [editline]20th March 2012[/editline] Also it's around 700$
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814505033 wtf newegg [editline]20th March 2012[/editline] http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814505032
But those are DiabloTek, so they will explode. They will run hot, draw more power then normal, and not be approved by the UL most likely. Those things are deathtraps.
OH GOD DON'T REMIND ME. The ydo make really nice stuff though, the fans are awesome because they they don't need a shroud to give very well directed flow, they have a small deadzone, and they are just bad-ass. They are poly-carbonate not acrylic, the models I'm getting have spots for 5mm LEDs if yo uwant to add them, they have support for daisy-chaining, which is good on radiators for controlling multiple ones easy. The mid-speed fans do 88CFM at 30 DB. These are a ball-bearing though due to the high speed so they are a few DB louder. Apparently these are amazing on the Cooler Master 212's because of the stupidly high static pressure combined with high CFM. They are 216CFM at 2800RPM, but reach 3200RPM at full output 12V@1.5A. I went with these mostly because they can actually be driven at low voltages without ticking like 38mm fans. The start-up voltage is 4.5V, but they can be driven as low as 4.0V which gives 800RPM and sub-30DB. So I bought 6 of them from Heatsink factory along with a decent Rheostat based controller that can handle 20W a channel.
Sleeve bearing ewww
finally sussed my stuttering problem, it was down to my wireless PCI card, I've disabled that and spent about an hour trying to install the ethernet controller for my motherboard and I'm now running on a bridged connection from my laptop 14mbit/s, that'll do for now until I can somehow feed cat5 all the way from my basement up to my loft and back down into my 3rd story bedroom
Welp, my carrier just texted me saying I was capped because of going over the datalimit. When I pressed accept to go with lower speeds, I got a message saying "Nope you haven't reached the datacap" :v:
Sleeve bearing ewww
What kind of bearing do you prefer then to sleeve? Magnetic, fluid dynamic, ball bearing, other? Sleeve don't work in horizontal positions so I don't use the, I use ball-bearing and fluid dynamic currently. The tk-123 is ball-bearing not sleeve.
I like ball-bearing because it's a Swedish invention :v: (It's also very good) [editline]20th March 2012[/editline] Also, I need a really silent cpu cooler for my server. Any recommendations?
Why are rumors of Apple buying EA resurfacing? That rumor is already a few years old already and dead. And now there's a new one about Apple buying AMD? Looking for a source on that since people are too stupid to supply one when they make claims like that.
Apple is usually more likely to buy out companies that don't make mistakes like the FX-Series. :v:

well my fractal r3 came today, really impressed with how it looks + the space in it. the sides are slightly annoying to put back on, but i gather there's a knack i'm not familiar with yet and hopefully will pick up over time. only thing left now is the processor! whenever that will arrive..
I swear, if dije uses that dumb emote again I'll kill someone.

Also those 680 numbers are very nice.
