I'm not getting any new card until September, unless I get money for one before then, since I'll have enough money then and hopefully by then there will be 670s/680s with more than 2gb of vram. Then I'll get a second one around Christmas time or something.

I actually use my server for extra storage.
Because the hard drive I put in here has low storage capacity. I keep stuff I don't need/use all the time on my server.
I also use it for other things.

My artist for Project Horizon just quit. That makes... five, aka all of them.
I'm really getting pissed about this. I've done a *HUGE* amount of work on this. HUGE. Seriously, this is practically a new game.
But it isn't fucking *releasable* until I get some fucking *graphics*.
I never asked for much. I specified a mere 15 sprites for the first release, to be split among just under 900 enemies. I did the overworld tiles myself. It shouldn't have been a big fucking deal.

Fuck it. I'll make them myself. They'll suck. And when someone tells me they suck, I'll say "I'd like to see you do better. Seriously. Go make better ones, then commit to the repo and they'll be in the next release."
Awww yeah. Managed to finally get my installation of my new CPU and motherboard working right.
First problem: forgot to uninstall drivers for old shit. AKA new stuff in = BSOD on boot
Second problem: Already disassmbled my old PC. So to avoid having to disassmble my new mobo, I make a franken-PC using my old mobo/CPU and hooked it all back up again on a little cardboard sleeve so I could run Sysprep (which apparently wipes/defaults all drivers/settings but not programs or anything so it'll work on a hardware swap).
Third problem: Sysprep wasn't working. Figured out that I needed to stop some windows processes from happening.
Fourth Problem: On next boot up with my new hardware, no more BSODS! However Windows has to reinstall all it's driver and services when it sets up. However this kind of is ruined when I get an error message and am stuck on a boot-loop. Apparently, Daemon Tool's registry setting it throws into your systems registry (not a program registry edit) straight up fucks with sysprep so it doesn't work when it re-installs default drivers and etc. Used my critical thinking skills to figure out that another un-realated issue with registry and Daemon tools calls to set some reg value to "4" to disable. I try that, and it works!
So there ya go. Went from a QX6850 w/ a 775mobo and DDR2 RAM to an i5 2500k w/ 1155 mobo and DDR3 ram without having to reinstall windows.
I love how in my quest to avoid doing work/spending time reinstalling windows probably ended up taking just as much time as it would to just reinstall windows and redownload all the programs/settings I had before :v:

Also on that note, I'll probably be selling my QX6850 if anyone wants an upgrade for their 775 motherboard. And the DDR2 ram. Probably not the mobo though since the reason why I got a new one anyways was because I was having problems with it.

That's a POST beep. You need to describe the sound more accurately to figure out what it means.
Just sent off the RMA "Pick my tablet up and fix it please" form for my Asus Transformer.
I should be ok, I filled the Warranty card in and still have the original receipt. I also have the original packaging including the screen protector used for shipping.
Yet another Asus product I've had fail on me, they really don't have a good track record from the things I have bought. I just hope the Asus 560ti and P8P67 in my main machine don't spontaneously combust on me.
