I got the same. "Ready to be part of the Screenwise Trends panel? Click the link below to get started."
THERE'S NO LINK BELOW.
I tried going through their website, and apparently I'm not actually part of the program yet since I can't log in to the panel.
GG, Dr. J Michael Dennis, PhD. Glad to see your doctorate isn't in ENSURING YOUR SYSTEMS WORK
My UPS is so old that it's got a serial connection.
And it doesn't protect my PC from power loss, however if I unplug the UPS from the wall, everything is A-OK and it switches to battery power.
Mine has a serial connection as well. It works though, and gives me like 20 minutes of full load on my computer before dying.
Mine does too, but if and only if it's unplugged.
A full on blackout causes it to shut down everything and beep until the battery dies.
I tend to spend that time outside.
Am I the only one that doesn't have a UPS?

YES
They are awesome.
Am I the only one that doesn't have a UPS?
I have one, but can't use it anymore due to exceeding 500-watt now when gaming because of crossfire.
The overdraw alarm is annoying.

Also it may seem like it's going to have a $500 price tag.
The ones on NCIX for $570+ are preorders on factory overclocked cards.
Trying to unbrick a Seagate drive that is stuck in BSY with it's onboard diagnostic serial port using the FTDI chip on my arduino board for serial-to-TTL conversion.
I foresee me being awake at 3am ._.

I had a bad experience with hitachi tools.
Just do screws by hand.
It pisses me off when I want to remove a screw but can't because some twit builder destroyed the screw head with a powertool...
Using a powertool in a computer, if you slip your fucked and if its in a tight space your fucked.

I have a black & decker hair dryer, is it going to set my house on fire?

Not if you do it outside the case.
Also why the hell would you use a power tool in a computer to begin with. It needs no tools.

My old computer was a micro atx, it needs alot of screws to get about it.

Okay then, how would you get the screws out with no tools?
Pepper;35225708']Okay then, how would you get the screws out with no tools?
If you get a good case you don't have any screws.
Hex-Head or even square-drive screws look cooler than screwless.
Real technicians have a Torque driver for precise screw tightness :v:
