It works though, and gives me like 20 minutes of full load on my computer before dying.

Mine does too, but if and only if it's unplugged. A full on blackout causes it to shut down everything and beep until the battery dies. I tend to spend that time outside.

Am I the only one that doesn't have a UPS?

Trying to unbrick a Seagate drive that is stuck in BSY with it's onboard diagnostic serial port using the FTDI chip on my arduino board for serial-to-TTL conversion. I foresee me being awake at 3am ._.

Just do screws by hand. It pisses me off when I want to remove a screw but can't because some twit builder destroyed the screw head with a powertool...
