This is one of the first times in Nvidia's history for them to make a card that has a 50% boost over the previous flagship GPU and actually uses significantly less power. It's quieter than the previous generation, cooler than the previous generation, and smaller than the previous generation. Nvidia is not known for that.
thank you!

Let's not forget that Maxwell should be 4x as efficient as Kepler.
Don't dare forget the fucking amazing price for what the new generation is, I find it hard to believe they cut down manufacturing costs so fucking much.
FUCKING :v: i still think 500$ is still a little much for a graphics card though this IS one of the higher end ones in this series, so i'm not complaining i guess
Let's not forget that Maxwell should be 4x as efficient as Kepler.
I've completely forgotten about Maxwell, but that isn't due until next year right?
It is, though keep in mind, this single GPU can basically max out every game on 3 monitors. It's amazing how fast it is on insane resolutions and AA compared to the 7970's 150% ram. [editline]23rd March 2012[/editline]
I've completely forgotten about Maxwell, but that isn't due until next year right?
Considering kepler came out about 7-8 months after predicted, we're probably looking at Q3-4 2013
Eh, dunno if I want to wait another year or not.
I plan on going with dual GK110's I think.
Kepler Maxwell What do
670 for me. Pretty much exactly what I want. Gonna build a new rig i5-3570k 16GB DDR3 1600 Single GTX 670 maybe with a second one later 2x1TB WD Blue's 2x500GB WD Green in RAID 0 120GB Intel 520 SSD All in a Corsair 650D, watercooling the CPU and GPU with a single 240mm rad and maybe a second 240 later.
Kepler
Kepler my butte
Kepler is nice.
Kepler Maxwell What do
You're forgetting about the revised version of Kepler that comes after
Wish XfX would make a 680, that lifetime warranty :v:
Wish XfX would make a 680, that lifetime warranty :v:
Evga has life time warranties. Also XFX is currently a shit company.
XFX is BAD
I'm pretty sure that half of XFX's customers just got stuff from them because the wanted the cool thingy that hangs on your door. damn i want one of those.
Anybody feel like helping me out? A bit of a persistent problem. http://facepunch.com/threads/1172200?p=35256717 Time Warner. Woo. (Since I know some people here usually do other things while here and don't look outside this thread usually, I figured I'd ask.)

Wingless told me to get that and it works great but I don't have any experience on sound cards, really.
Anything with 5.1 would be better than my current onboard audio :v:

SSD or GPU? I can't decide, I rarely play games, so the performance boost in productivity would be nice I suppose.
1. Leave neutral feedback on eBay 2. Get offered $50 T-shirt They all look weird though: http://www.fly53.com/product_list/21
So I just opened up my case behind the mobo tray, to see why the lazy people who built this didn't manage the cables at all They aren't lazy, but there's a full CM of space in the back And no holes to put any cables through
