It's not worth paying for. Just wait it out or do something creative to a Valve employee. (their stance is normally don't give away to anyone but close friends but you might be able to impress someone)

So my laptops HDD is seemingly dead, or the motherboard is. Just plugged my headset into the back of my PC after having it in the front for a month, microphone no longer works no matter if I plug it in front or back, tested with old headset and that worked fine. Both headset and laptop are Alienware, guess who's never buying from Dell again. I think I'm just going to buy everything at once next month, sick of playing around with this headset, too many issues and it crushes my head. Edit: Actually I think I blame Realtek for the headset issues, never had issues on my old PC, why the older headset works I have no idea, don't even think it's a brand. So, soundcard, HTF's, modmic, laptop repair. Thank god no good games are coming out in the next two months.

Headsets are just easy to use, I have a small pullout keyboard tray desk so desktop mics aren't convenient, clip-ons are just uncomfortable. Plus I don't record or anything so there's never been a need for a good quality mic, it did the job just fine for Skype with friends. I couldn't call the audio quality bad as it was better than anything I had before. Might order the HTF's tonight.

I just woke up, and had a dream that my dad bought me an Alienware laptop. The hinge broke in a day.

Starting to get annoyed with the fact that when I want to game I don't have any fun new games to play or anyone to play them with. I'm actually beginning to miss Xbox Live. What the fuck is wrong with me :v:

Went swimming with friends and came back? Yeah, i'll get laptops, let's get something to eat and LAN! we went swimming a lot. But skill to hours played ratio for me is kind of low...

The only games I've ever been really good at are CoD 4 and MW2. I want to play MW3 with my old squad but they've all either moved to BF3 or are still on Xbox.
