my XFX 6870 isn't liking skyrim either
Yeah I realise the extreme lateness. Thanks for that though.
Edit: Now I know how it feels to get ninja'd by a guy named buttsex.

You using 12.2 and AA?
I downgraded to 12.1 which really isn't much better. I am using 8xAA though
Oh.
Then idk what's going on with your card.
12.2 is known for causing artifacts in most games with AA enabled.
It's not artifacts that I'm having issues with, Skyrim is the only game that's completely unstable since I got my 6870
That's even weirder.
I'm preparing to record a "Why you should use DXtory" video for my channel.
http://puu.sh/mhbb
That lists what I am going to cover. I think I'll do a DXtory versus Fraps video later. Any other ideas of things to cover. Also, what should I title the video.
DXtory or: How I learned to stop lagging and love real recorders
DXtory: Fraps literally is history.
Then I explain how Fraps is using an AVI standard from the 80s.
Don't forget to mention the whole thing with fraps shitting out 100 4 gig .avi files a minute
Thank you. Added to list. Just keep throwing out ideas
I've got Fraps and Dxtory installed, I could make you a comparison for older spec computers (2 gigs of ram, 6 year old CPU)
If you want, but it's not too important.
In other news, my computer decided to start verifying and repairing my RAID10. It's at 5% usage so I can't even fucking edit unless I cancel it.
if you need the options it has.
But a good DAC should give you all the spatial advantage you need. I felt like my whole mind was expanded after using this DAC.

Also this song is fucking amazing:

I must have been doing something wrong because a 50 second video at 1080p on Dxtory was 3.5GB whereas on fraps it was 2.5GB, looked just as good, and was at 60FPS instead of 24..

What codec?
What codec?
Dxtory codec, all default
[editline]25th March 2012[/editline]
Thats probably why :v:
Is there a different codec that I should be using instead?
Is anyone else noticing this aswell? Every time is open facepunch after a browser restart, i see a quick message saying Invalid redirect url: blabla and then it redirects me to http://facepunch.com/profile.php?do=dst which looks blanks to me. Reloading the main page fixes it.. ?

I use "Ut Video Codec YUV422 (ULY2)".
Output is an avi file with 100% quality but the file is small compared to FRAPS.
30min 1080p/30FPS was about 60GB. (Mass Effect 3 MP)
Dear god, this is infuriating. Got myself a wireless mouse with one of those tiny usb receivers and it just won't fucking work!
ew iTunes
my only problem with iTunes is when it comes to syncing iDevices and the fact that it doesn't have FLAC support (at least last I checked)
I find it okay for playing and organising music, it even has a crappy little equalizer

Which one?
Which one?
This one. I plug the receiver in and it reads it as a USB input device. I press the button on the bottom of the mouse but it won't work.

Stupid question, but batteries?
Speaking of XFX.
My modxstream pro 500 went wrong aaaaaages ago.
To RMA it i have to send it to holland, how much does that cost?
As much as a new modxstream.
Whoops, i meant OCZ
Stupid question, but batteries?
I even took them out and put them in to make sure they were put in properly (I've had a relative break something over his mouse not working only to find out he didn't put the batteries in right) and all of a sudden it's started working.
Curse thee, wireless technology.

I hate it when shit only works after you pull out the battery(s) and put them back in.
That happened with my GBA SP a long time ago, it wouldn't charge, turn on, etc. and I thought it was broken.
Dad unscrewed the back, took out the battery and put it back in. It worked.
I thought he was some sort of Nintendo God. :v:
