If everybody things I shouldnt get a blackberry, what should I get?
A HTC One X if you can afford it. If you can't Galaxy Note.
Xperia S, galaxy note, S2, nexus, rezound, One X? All good phones.
Galaxy Note
Because he can afford that? [editline]28th March 2012[/editline]
If everybody things I shouldnt get a blackberry, what should I get?
Seriously, get a Nokia 6330 or that alike. Great phone. Runs smoothly, camera isn't too bad, and it'll be cheap as hell. And did I mention that it's indestructable?
What do you want from the phone?
You have mutant hardware destroying superpowers though. They don't count.
Give me 10 minutes.
What do you want from the phone?
Native Facebook/Twitter Integration with the phone (Like the ability to post photo's taken to facebook), A good web browser, Ability to theme the GUI, A good keyboard, Wide range of apps, etc. Pretty much iOS.
You have mutant hardware destroying superpowers though. They don't count.
Can I be part of the X-men then?

A Lumia 710 would not be a bad choice. Sure, you can't really do much about the theme, but the selection of apps is pretty good, and the phone is fast, unlike many budget Android phones.
And what's your budget/contract?
Pref under £200. Dont mind if its second hand from ebay or w/e

If you prefer the native Facebook/Twitter integration over GUI theming, you really cannot go wrong with Windows Phone. Internet Explorer and the virtual keyboard on Windows Phone work well too, in my opinion, although I can't say I have experience on other phones. That, and if you're going to get Windows 8, you'll have most of the stuff synced too.
Windows phone has one of the best keyboards I've used.
What's so great about the Win Phone keyboard? That it has prediction?
Give me one. I'll break it in a day
You sir are a freak of nature. I could do less damage to computer components with an etherkiller mk-II than you could do with your bare hands.
I eat processors for breakfast. Without any milk.
Do you carry a permanent static charge or something? :v:
What's so great about the Win Phone keyboard? That it has prediction?
Practically all do anyway
Do you carry a permanent static charge or something? :v:
Funny thing. I've been driving a lot today and every damn time I've got out the car I've got a zap off the door... and again when I have touched the handle of the door to the building where I work. ARGH.
Do you carry a permanent static charge or something? :v:
yes
yes
This explains it!
What's so great about the Win Phone keyboard? That it has prediction?
I don't know, but it's simply easy to typeon. When I got this phone I had used iPhone keyboards more, and it was still a better experience. I flick back and forth between Danish and English a lot, and that's where most my typos come from.
The keyboard learns much better than other keyboards and the prediction and autocorrect is very generous (and usually correct.) Doesn't want to learn curse words though. I can't tell you how many times I've told my buddies "duck you :P"
You'd only use a ramdrive for benchmarks? You crazy? I make daily use of RAM Drives, as small as they usually are (100 to 400MB)
I might set one up for some frequently used games or something, but to be honest my RAID10 is so fast that I load games in like a second and BF3 maps load in 2-3 seconds.
Get a ramdisk and set it up as a pagefile. Most useful thing ever!
I've found Swype to be the best keyboard on my phone.
If everybody things I shouldnt get a blackberry, what should I get?
The Nexus S is getting a bit old, though mine runs most apps just fine. It really depends, though you can get one new/good condition for about $250.
