Deus Ex: HR has the shittiest cut scene graphics in the fucking world.
Pepper;35349279']I wonder how silly a mini itx board would look in there.
I've got one of those I think... I'm too lazy to go dig around the spare parts room.
And haf's have a good balence IMO.
I think Corsair has actually managed a very good balance between functionality and aesthetics in their Carbide 400R. It looks kinda stylish, it doesn't really try to be cool looking, and is just as functional as any of their other cases. (except the graphite series, I don't know what was supposed to happen there)

Meh, I don't like it.

Guess it's not for everyone. Same could be said about the HAF series, though. Personally I think they're uglier than any 'shapeless, colourless box' out there. :v:

I don't like any other HAF other than the 912.
As I said.
I'm one picky bastard.

The cutscenes graphics are great.
The shitty 2006 era compression sucks though.
Sometimes the fire/explosions look out of place because they are too realistic compared to the other shit, but yeah the compression is really making it look worse than it looks.
I got banned on the DXtory support forums. What?
I actually try and help people. And I fucking paid for the software...
My laptop wont detect any networks and the drivers aren't helping.
guh
I sent the guy an email asking what was up and made sure to show I was a customer that paid the painful 47 dollars for the software.
Oh hey, guess who finally got a sprite finished for Project Horizon?

Commence people telling me how much it sucks in 3... 2... 1...
on a scale of 1-10, I give it a suck

[editline]this means its awful[/editline]

I like it, but the sword looks too long when it's diagonal
I like it, but the sword looks too long when it's diagonal
Will take that into account.
I'm not expecting them to be great. I'm not even expecting them to be good. I want them to be "good enough to make the game playable enough to get some better artist hooked on it, and driven to make sprites that are actually worth shit".
I'm working on the Microsoft and Intel ones now, may post later. Or not - setting them up as gifs takes time.
Also, Apple sucks:
I just remembered that hey, I finally have Snow Leopard, I should be able to install XCode now. So, download the 10GB "XCode + IOS SDK" image, run the installer. It fails the first three times, giving the least helpful error message ever ("An error occurred during installation")
I tried several different options. Eventually I decide to sit there and watch it to see exactly where it fails.
Fifteen minutes later, it installs correctly. It seems Apple managed to write an installer that doesn't work if you switch to another window or do anything else while the installer runs.

I'd help you with sprites if I had an attention span bigger then a pin head. [sub][sub]I cant finish projects[/sub][/sub]

And that's why I'm doing it myself. I could've released this version five months ago if the various artists had been able to finish shit. I'm doing it myself because that seems to be the only way to actually get it done.
PS: Those *are* pretty cool sprites you made.

I figured as much... I really need to train myself to not drop shit I'm working on in the middle of it and never pick it up again. Only recently was I able to finish something huge and worthwhile, and it was excruciating because I just didn't wanna work on it anymore. I randomly lose interest even if it's turning out spectacular. :l
Thanks, though.

do lots of caffeine, it helps
do lots of caffeine, it helps
Does Pepsi count? I drink shitloads of it. (and it's probably gonna kill me someday)
do lots of caffeine, it helps
Especially the coffee sort
Also I need to remember to never bring anything up with my mom.
They got pizza and a sierra mist 2L, I commented that it tasted like it had splenda in it though it had sugar listed in it. Then proceeded to mention something I read about those artificial sweeteners from HowStuffWorks and how those scares about it causing cancer are only relevant if you eat like a bucket of the stuff at a time.
She concludes that because it's a chemical, it's bad for you. I should have just left right then. But I told her that sugar is a chemical. "But no, that's natural."
"W...wwwhat..."
