Hey do any of you have AT&T? They said we can get an early iPhone upgrade in January. Do they use iPhone in place of any other smartphone because they can sell an iPhone easier to people or is it iPhone early? I want an early phone, and since my BDay is in Janaury I'll be able to afford a rather nice phone, but I want an Android phone, not an iPhone. iPhones and other smartphones (bb, android, wp7) all require the same plans. So does AT&T mean any smartphone or just the iPhone?

I can play Battlefield 3 with everything Ultra and 4x AA with 60+ fps (50 fps minimum, but it rarely dips below 57) at 1920x1080, but with AMD's Morphological filtering/ Morphological AA instead of normal AA and everything ultra at 1920x1080 I get 40fps max. It's complete shit.

It's complete shit.[/QUOTE] If you're going to use a 3rd party AA addon, use SMAA. Fuck you Brt for getting me into it, but goddammit it's good. MLAA really fucks up text everywhere, SMAA CAN (It does with Steam overlay, that's for certain) but doesn't always, it's on a game to game basis. Something like BF3 looks amazing with it, same for games like DiRT and Crysis. SMAA is MLAA without the FPS rape (There is a drop, that's for certain, I stuck it on the Unigene Heaven benchmark on ultra and lost about 10 to 5 FPS) and looks 100x better than MLAA. I use SMAA on my laptop, on BF3 and performance wise works better and looks better than FXAA. The best part with SMAA is how it doesn't replace MSAA, but compliments it. DiRT 3, 8x (max) MSAA and Ultra SMAA. I got a performance hit of only 8 FPS at the worst times, with the average being 4 FPS drop and the only aliasing to be found was when there was no possible way of anti-aliasing, there were no pixels to smooth to. I know this since we got this promo for my mom when she was getting a new phone, our payments went up $4 after getting the iPhone.

We only did it because we would be able to keep our unlimited plan due to being grandfathered in since they no longer offer it. I get weekly messages saying I'm in the top 1% for data usage and that I need to reduce my data usage. Hell no, I am going to take advantage of this unlimited thing for as long as I can. BF3 looks much better with FXAA configured correctly to your monitor though, I will never go back.
