I was seeing if the bulbs in my 1kw light box were really underpowered. So I ordered a 65watt/350watt CFL bulb and plugged it in. It seems to pump out more light than all 5 of the old bulbs together. The bulb is 12 dollars each but is really bright and huge.

disabling and reenabling my wifi adapter seems to have fixed it.
